In from KC for work. Came to watch a game and stayed for two. Food and service were great. Fast kitchen and bartenders were friendly and I never had to wait for a refill or another drink. Other patrons were also personable to the out of town guest. The bartender Stacey was amazing and a friendly face. Working in the bar business for 31 years I commend this establishment and employees. Fun spot for sure! It was a bit rough and ready when we got there but nothing worth complaining about. The burgers were good, the fries were good, and the staff was passable. I would go back. The ambiance is like the classic pub. The staff is super friendly so their service was great. Their food is always great and delicious. This visit I got the happy hour tacos. The food was outstanding! I ordered the double play cheeseburger and it was cooked perfectly and tasted great! We also ordered the salad with the smoked chicken, which was large and flavorful! The server was really friendly, however after we ordered our food and bar drinks, she started cleaning and doing some closing duties. This caused about a 20 minute delay for our drinks to be delivered from the bar. She apologized for the oversight, but still it should not have occurred. Other than that, the overall experience was great, and one we would repeat. We went on 1/1 with the College Football Championships playing. It was seat yourself and we easily found a booth, which was surprising because they have a large number of high quality TVs throughout the restaurant. Great place to watch a sports! First off, great little burger spot! Atmosphere is very inviting, sports themed. Service is very polite and attentive. Food was awesome! We ordered the fried pickles and fried cheese. Were very very good! I ordered hot mess burger and it was delicious! My wife ordered the nachos.. I think she accidentally ordered the large because it was a mountain of delicious nachos!! Last night was my first experience at Parkway, but I can guarantee it won’t be my last!!! From the friendly atmosphere the moment my boyfriend (not first experience) and I walked through the door, to the amazing service we received from each of the three ladies who assisted us (our waitress was the absolute sweetest and best ever), to the delicious food we were brought… I enjoyed every second of my first Parkway Grill experience!!! We started with the Tailgate Fries (shared as they are huge)and they were absolutely amazing, we then ordered getting the Fried Catfish with Fried okra and curly fries and the Bacon Cheese Burger with home cut fries… Huge mistake there Lol!!! The food what we could eat of it was off the charts delicious!!! It was the most tender and juicy catfish I have ever eaten hands down. I liked the curly fries and okra also, but after trying my boyfriend’s home cut fries I will definitely be choosing them our next visit!!! Our bill with tip was about $60 but every bit worth it, as we both had an amazing time, and received dinner last night and lunch today!!! If you haven’t tried it yet I highly recommend you run, I promise you won’t be disappointed!!! 10/10 recommend! What a gem..my husband and I are traveling the country and we had to come back to this place on our way to Waco. Yes, we planed our trip around the food. The cat fish is the best we have ever eaten and the service as always been great. Our server was Jayna and she did an amazing job.i would highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Wish I could give this place more stars than five. Staff was great and food was amazing. Portions are enough for two people on some plates.Guaranteed coming back! Get Dem tasty vittles here. First time at The Parkway Grill, only complaint...parking. Not much available on site. It was apparent that The Parkway Grill was a good spot to go when people were willing to park in bushes. Plenty of food and beer options available. Also, plenty of televisions throughout so you don't miss your team's game. Friendly and welcoming staff and atmosphere. I recommend the Pork Burrito. First off, I would like to take a moment to thank the owner for attending to my needs and taking care of business in a professional manner. I appreciate everything. I would like to update my review and say that this last visit to parkway was outstanding. The waitress was phenomenal. Very attentive. The food was as I remembered it…absolutely delicious. I put a picture of our food on here and my husband couldn’t wait long enough before diving in to his food, so please excuse us!
