A year ago
I had seen this on the Google map but didn't think anything of it until I tried to walk from town to Finn Hall to partake in a contra dance. I was told it was just outside town so I thought I would walk. When it wasn't were I thought it would be I walked over to the pie wreath where I asked the proprietors how far it was. "Two miles" was the answer, followed by a wholly unexpected "would you like a ride?".. "Yes please" was my answer And I got there just in time for the start of the dance. I found out that she made savory pies as well as fruit ones, So I ordered a chicken pot pie for the following day around noon. Well it wasn't until 2:00 p.m. when I finally made it over, but it was ready to go. All I had was a 20, And instead of getting change, I opted to order another one for the following day, you just need to leave a time that you'll pick it up.. The buttery crust was delicious as was the filling (Even better with some Sriracha!), just what was needed to complement an IPA!
