Excellent service Great atmosphere Yummy 🤤 food Great Location Had a great experience, I’m new to the area and been looking for a nice diner to have my weekend brunch. We always have a great experience at The Rose restaurant. Note that this is a breakfast / brunch place. It is very cozy, although sometimes you may need to wait in line for a table. The food is delicious, fresh and tasty, so it is worth the wait. The service is very friendly and super fast. The music selection is very nice as well. All the locals enjoy this place very much! I highly recommend it. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30

Very cute and cozy small town diner. Food was good. I wish my hash brown was more crispy but that’s fine. The pancakes were so good and the server was very nice and friendly as well. Great service from sincere, friendly staff. There is a good variety of old breakfast and lunch standards with options to make a vegetarian happy. We fed 4 people well for $100, including desert. This restaurant has been here for a really long time and I'm sure I was just there on an off-day. Service was slow and inadequate but we were told that was a new server.... Hopefully she'll pick up the pace a little bit when there's a lot of people to serve. She also didn't succeed in splitting the bill like we had asked for at the beginning so the server that picked up her slack comped us the coffee for the hassle; nice touch! I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs. one was hard and one was a runny yolk. I was too hungry to point it out and send it back. It's really a nice location with decent outdoor seating so I'll be back to try again. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

What's not to love about an authentic diner! A lot of options on the menu, guaranteed to find something you'll like. We loaded up on a few different breakfast items and weren't disappointed. Stumbled here on a warm Sunday while walking around puyallup and got a seat at the bar top right away! The owner was our server and he was so kind and funny. The food was absolutely delicious and fairly priced. Watching the restaurant work you can tell people are happy and there are good vibes among the staff and the customers! The food was good and the waiter was very good at his job and not bad to look at. We ordered our food and his helper brought our meals within minutes. We were amazed and surprised since the table next to us had not received their food and they arrived before us. Half way through our meal we found out that we were given the neighboring tables meal. They ordered exactly the same thing. Eggs Benedict and chicken fried steak. They were so understanding and polite that we decided to buy their meal as well. It was a simple mistake by a rookie food runner. Again the waiter was very good looking ;-) I’ve added pics of the menus since prices have gone up.

You know when the coffee is good in a local Diner, you can bet the food will be just as good, & it was. Had a great cup of Joe to go with my chicken fried steak&eggs with Hash browns with cheese & onions & white toast. Everything was Outstanding! My wife got the bone-in ham & was so impressed with the quality & portions. Nice country music in the background just gives you that warm small-town feel. I knew I would like this place as soon as I saw it. Small town diner, friendly people, the yummy smell of food and the owner/manager siting at the counter laughing and talking to the staff like they are family. A few things I noticed that increased my view of this place, that it had a diverse crowd, they served breakfast all day and in the corner there was a child having their birthday with all the family there and one of the staff was blowing up balloons and placing special decorations at a table to make it festive. The food was really good. I had the bone in ham served with eggs, toast and choice of potato . My partner had the vegetarian omelet with toast and choice of potato. The strange was that the toast was delayed by 15 min (must bread shortage), but was served with homemade like marrianberry jam. Over all it was nice. The service was slightly slow and the food took a little longer to be served because it was busy. My rating is like 4.5. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20
