While passing through town, I had a chance to visit the Wine Destination, where I was made to feel very welcome by one of the owners (Sarah, pictured with me below) who, with her husband Keith, have created a lovely place to shop for wine, or to simply sit down (as I did) and have a glass. Everything is clean, spacious, and nicely arranged, complete with a back room that is very nicely arranged for private meetings. Though a stranger to the area, I quickly found myself engaged in delightful conversations with other customers despite having just met them. and this was quite enjoyable! Bottom line, I look forward to returning in the future. Thanks Sarah & Kevin for setting up such a gem :-)
TWD is truly such a wonderful addition to downtown Roseburg! We've learned so much about wine during our time spent at TWD. Keith and Sarah are both very knowledgeable and gracious hosts.
The vision for The Wine Destination has been realized in that a tour through the world of wine is in downtown Roseburg. A beautiful wine shop with a subtle elegance that is both welcoming with an old world feel, offering new world wines.
The Wine Destination is literally everything it promises to be and more! Both owners (industry vets) possess that warmth and knowledge to make your experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this spot.
TWD is an enjoyable shop with a very good selection of wines from around the world, at a reasonable price. The owners, Sarah and Keith are welcoming and quite knowledgeable amount all varieties of wine. The location is in the historic downtown of Roseburg, right on Jackson St. The Wine Tasting events are the 3rd Friday, each month 4-7pm. I have enjoyed their wines and discussions.
First class customer service from Keith. If you are looking for an evening out or a quick stop to pickup a case of wine, I suggest you swing in! You will not be disappointed with the service or the price. Not the typically for Roseburg. Check it out.
This place is a great place to go try out local wines and wines from other areas is the world. Staff is very knowledgeable. The menu has some great complimentary charcuterie boards and hummas or guacamole. If you like wine try out this place either for a light lunch with wine or a great pre-game if you are going out. Also a fantastic wine selection. Would recommend.
