Right after visiting Guernsey County Courthouse, come here for a meal. The menu of Italian cuisine under the direction of the talented chef is gorgeous here. Don't forget to degust nicely cooked chicken tenders, fish and grilled chicken salads at this bbq. Based on the visitors' opinions, waiters offer tasty peanut butter pie, coconut pie and coconut cream pie here. Good beer or delicious wine will make your meal better and you'll surely come back. Ice tea is great at Theo's. This place is perfect for celebrating an anniversary, a wedding or a birthday party. The pleasant staff welcomes people all year round. Service at this spot is something one can name spectacular. Prices are found democratic here. You will appreciate the modern decor and enjoyable atmosphere of this bbq. Although I always go for the fish tail sandwich while we are there, this time they switched up and changed the fish. But still pretty great food and the atmosphere is always inviting! I really hate not giving this a 5 out of 5. Only reason there was an accident with my meal in the kitchen. The manager came out with my husband's dinner and explained that my meal was knocked on the floor. She explained it would be a few minutes but the would bring my sides out. I didn't complain but the waitress couldn't apologize enough. I said it was okay. All in all my food was great. We got pie to go and they took 50% off my meal and the pies were free. They made it right and I didn't have to complain. This is one of my favorite places to eat and it was an early birthday meal. Keep on doing right by your customers, I know I appreciate it. Myself and wife enjoy this very popular family run restaurant. We travel a little over 2 hours every other week or so to enjoy a meal with the many everyday regular customers of Theo's. Relaxed casual atmosphere worthy of the usual wait before getting a table. Most items made fresh daily. Great sandwiches and fries that are a pleasant change from the fast food variety, onion rings also very good, coleslaw that taste like it was just made. Their vast selection of freshly made pie is a major attraction for the majority of customers and will likely continue that way - pie servings are larger than most restaurants at half the price and is just one reason people travel so far to enjoy this favorite diner of the many locals living in Cambridge. My wife and I stopped by Theo's on a recommendation from a local. The food was great. The service, not so much. We were seated right away. It took a little while for our waitress to come by, but we had to look at the menu anyway. My wife ordered an Iced Tea and a Brisket Burger. I got a Cherry Dr Pepper and the Brisket Burger, which was a special that day for lunch. We told the waitress we'd probably want pie for dessert. We got our drinks, and then our waitress brought our burgers and drink refills out shortly after. The burgers and fries were very good and cooked perfectly. Long after we were finished, we were looking for our waitress to order pie. She was nowhere to be found. Being the smart donkey that I am, I called the restaurant and said: "I'd like to order a couple pieces of pie, to be delivered... to my table." The guy that answered said he'd find my waitress. We finally got our pie. I had the Banana Cream, and my wife had coconut cream. They were both very good and nice sized pieces. The guy that answered the phone seemed like he was upset with me, but really, he should look at why I had to call. Just to be clear, I took pictures of our food because I always review new places. The pictures of the pie were a half hour after the burgers. My phone call was over 20 minutes after we got our food. That's how long it had been since we'd seen our waitress. The food was excellent. But the service could have been a lot better, including the response to my phone call. I would still recommend this place because of the menu and the quality of the food. The service wasnt very good although it was incredibly busy so the server wasn’t very attentive. She probably had to deal with about 40 people. She was very nice however. I did wait nearly an hour for my food and the food was kind of disappointing. I got a steak sandwich with cheddar cheese, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and fries. The fries were great. Nice and crispy. Same can be said for the cheese,mushrooms, and the onions. But the steak was a big letdown. It was a thin, slightly over cooked, and little seasoned piece of meat. The crust on it was nice but that’s it. The food for how long I waited was a bit below what I was expecting. I think this was a one off but it was underwhelming.
