It is definately a place you need to try. If you are looking for a brew, try the speckled hen. The burgers are great. Go hungry. Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Burgers

The food is fantastic most of the time, but we have had two instances of off-putting fish in the fish and chips (one cod and one salmon). But their fries have a second coating that's kind of like tempura, and it's a crispy sort of awesome. My main gripe is the bar, in person. It's filthy dirty. Whyyyyy is there carpet??? It stinks and is soooo grimey. The tables are always sticky, and I'm super not interested in seeing dead flies in the windows. There are always gnats when we are there too. Take out is a better option since your home is far cleaner than this bar. If it's dark and loud, you may not notice, though. Despite the gross bar, the food remains good. I could not tell if this is a bar that makes enough money to be rude and ignore customers or if it's just a British theme. with no one in the bar but two clearly regular customers a "hello"is not a lot to ask. was ignored for about 5 minutes and finally the bartender asks me what I want. I ask what they have in a bottle and he flips me a menu. no recommendations , he wasn't busy he just wanted to go smoke. I've worked in bars over 15 years.
