Pizza was great. Got the Mexican and deluxe cheese. I liked how they cut it into small pieces because I have 3 kids. Service was great. Young guy Jesse that worked there made us feel like we were family. It was our first time in and we will definitely be back. Pizza is made in so many different ways. I've been meaning to try this place for 3 years. I finally went. Unfortunately, their pizza isn't the way that I like it. The service was okay. The best pizza on the planet. Piles of toppings, great sauce, thin crispy crust... the pizza is absolutely excellent, and the owners and staff are just as great. I've been eating at Tim's for 30 years now, and I've never had anything other than absolute perfection. Great pizza with a crispy crust and heaping toppings. I drive across town from Shawnee to Independence to get Tims. I bring my mom and she always raves about the pizza and how clean the place is. Went because of the good reviews but weren’t impressed: 1. It’s 2023 and the place only takes cash or checks. Pretty inconvenient and unbelievable. 2. Pizza was lacking in every sense. Meat wasn’t seasoned. Barely any sauce. Crust had no flavor. Cheese had little flavor. 3. We were misled by their Monday pizza special. Apparently it’s only lunch so we were denied the special at dinner. 4. The hours are terrible. They were generous with toppings (note we ordered double pep) and the crust had a nice crisp. Hey, something is working for them and we love supporting local, but this place just wasn’t for us.
