Ive stopped in a few times now to get their desserts which are seriously tasty. However, this time I tried the fried chicken torta and wow. This sandwich is incredible and the refried beans on it is a total game changer for me. This is one of my new favorite take out spots in town. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I couldn’t resist stopping by midday after seeing a photo on Instagram- and they did not disappoint. I snagged a couple cakes and a taco and have officially marked this my taco spot for southern Maine. The cakes made my day, I’m exited to share this spot with the family! It has been a very long time since I have ordered take out and was completely satisfied. This place is a local gem. We tried a little bit of everything on the dessert and food menu and it was fresh and very tasty. I can’t wait to go back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place is a gem! Having lived on both coasts, this is the best Mexican food I’ve found in the states. My husband is from Mexico and agrees. The food is so flavorful and fresh. We went one day and had to go back the next! We tried the chorizo huarache, the chicken Milanese semita, the chicken tinga quesadilla, and carnitas and chicken tacos and all of it was amazing. Honestly the semita may have been the best sandwich I’ve had in my life. And of course the desserts are incredible - we tried the tres leches cake with peach, flan, and gelatina mozaico. The champurrado; Mexican hot chocolate with cinammon and thickened with cornmeal is exactly like I remember in Puebla, Mexico. The huaraches, thick large tortillas in an oblong shape heaped with lettuce, several kinds of cheese and your choice of meat, were amazing! The green chili sauce had fresh cilantro and onion and wasn’t so hot I couldn’t taste them. The display counter was full of slices of flan and Tres Leches cake. It’s too easy to pig out here! Muy delicioso! We went to try the food vs the desserts. We ordered a chicken tamale, a chorizo taco, a mushroom taco and a spiced meat huarache. All were delicious! We asked for extra salsa on the side for some extra heat. We also tried the chamupurrado, a Mexican hot chocolate and corn drink which was very good, and I’m not a fan of hot chocolate. The atmosphere is no frills but very pleasant with Latin music playing in the background. The portions were generous, and the price we paid was reasonable for what we ordered.
