This cake blew my mind and was such a smash hit for my friend’s birthday! Seriously, the birthday girl was in happy tears and the 30+ guests were all reeling over how beautiful and tasty it was! The 6” cake was more than enough to serve everyone!
I stumbled upon Two Spoons when I searched “bakery near me.” After looking at a few photos, I decided to reach out. Must was so fast to respond – my initial email was on Tuesday and I received a response and confirmed the design + flavors + details for payment / pickup that day. Misti was so easy to communicate with and she totally understood my vision. I love that she took her own creative direction, too. I was thrilled with the special touches she added to the cake.
Pickup was super easy and I had no trouble getting my order for a Saturday party! I will 100% order from Misti again and I have already referred multiple friends to her!
Thank you Misti for sharing your passion & talents! Also thank you for the tips on how to cut / serve the cake for a large group!

Misti is amazing and I am soo thrilled we used her for our wedding! Take a seat as rave about her cakes and service.
First we got 4 cakes, a strawberry lemon marble, a classic chocolate, a spice, and my favorite which I forget the combination she suggested but said it would be like tiramisu and it was. Oh that's right she suggested it, she knows how to make helpful suggestions if that may improve the cake. She also is great at creative freedom and the cake decorating directions I gave, for 4 cakes, was very little. I basically said I like this style of 2 cakes and I don't like piping, can you please figure out the rest how to make it pretty? She completely knocked it out of the park! She also delivered it to the venue with probably the worst instructions ever, just a name and address, she did it without complaint and the cakes were set up just beautiful.
AND THE CAKES THEMSELVES! I've tried quite a bit from her as we also have ordered cupcakes to taste her work and what flavors we like. Every single one is delicious and you really can't go wrong! Personally my favorites are her darker colored cakes so chocolate and spice and espresso. Every cake is super dense and moist, the fillings and icing aren't too sweet.
The guests complimented the cakes through the night and were so impressed!
Buy from two spoons, support this amazing small business by a woman who probably realized she should charge more after reading this LOL.
I can't wait to try her cheesecake next. Thank you so much Misti for being a part of what made our wedding day special. Sorry if no one ever reads this because it's too long XD

I first ordered Two Spoons Bakes before for my sons 3rd birthday. I’m already a fan of their cupcakes, cakes and decorating abilities. Everything I’ve tried has been great, and never too sweet.
I recently tried the Salted Carmel Apple pie. The pie was delicious and brought back the holiday feels. Wonderfully balanced flavors, nice crisp apples, the crust was incredible, and overall the sweet & salty flavors were in perfect harmony.
If you haven’t already tried Two Spoons Bakes- take the risk, give them a try. You won’t regret it!
