Placed order today through DoorDash for 3 sandwiches (Egg Salad, Chick Sal and Turkey Saulsolito). The Pita Bread that contained the Chick Salad was very hard and stale. The Egg Salad and Chick Salad were barely cool when they arrived. I called this restaurant to give them feedback on the sandwiches and lady who I talked to said DoorDash was late in picking up the order but that doesn't address why pita bread was so hard and stale. This same lady I was speaking to asked for my ph# and said she'd text me email address of who to send email to but never received it. I also called DoorDash to give them feedback about the driver as he was supposed to ring my doorbell when leaving order but he did not. So there's a quality issue in that this place used very hard, stale bread and probably made the sandwiches too soon since they were a scheduled order which is why they weren't cold and a quality issue with this driver not able to follow instructions. Very disappointing experience when these places charge so much between upcharges for items ordered that are much higher than in-store and delivery drivers who don't follow instructions. DON'T USE DOORDASH. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

The couple who owns and runs this place are fantastic and they serve wonderful food! Breakfast, lunch, and snacks, very well priced and worth the trip. I’m lucky to have them in my office building!

Uptown Cafe is a General Dynamic's cafeteria open to public. A friend of mine at GD took me here the other day and made me a huge fan of their incredible philly steak. I don't work at GD, but people there must be so blessed to have such savory lunch selections every day. I knew some companies are loaded with an excellent cafeteria their employees boast for. Well... it is a great employee benefit after all. But seriously! This café tops them all. Should I quit my job and work in GD instead? I wish. Haha.
