Nothing fancy about this place. Rampant change over of both back and front of house. Extreme toxic environment. Too much hype for a standard restaurant. Chicken cutletts are delivered cooked, not house made. Nick Bronke is what holds the kitchen together. His fares are outstanding. Nothing worth really recommending. Anywhere else in Suttons Bay is the same or better. Yes, I am a former emplyee. That being said, there is nothing on this review that is untrue or slanderous. There are no malicious intentions. December 2023. We always enjoy going here for lunch or dinner when we're in town. Always great friendly service, great food & drinks. Locals are always friendly & nice to chat with. Great atmosphere! Thanks & Happy New Year! See y'all next time 😁 This trip, I had the 2 lb. Crab legs, very good! We had an order of the jumbo perch bites & a pulled pork sandwich that a local told us about last year & it was delicious! Sunday night buffet special very reasonable ... Hannah, our server was awesome.. the. My companion and I both had the spinach and artichoke soup. It was creamy, delicious, and satisfying. We also shared the popcorn perch and the loaded tater tots. Both were outstanding, although I thought the tarter sauce was a bit sweet. A squeeze of fresh lemon juice saved it for me. The staff was friendly and attentive, the facilities were clean, and the atmosphere was casual and inviting. I was a bit disappointed in the fact of local wines being offered, but hardly worth knocking off points. I highly recommend the short drive up the Leelanau peninsula to this cozy pub. We ate outside and had the double pleasure of enjoying a delicious meal and watching the activities of this quaint town. The service was friendly, we received our dinners amazingly fast for such a busy evening, and the prime rib and walleye were cooked to perfection! Would definitely visit again!

Exceeded my expectations. The toppings to actual pieces of lettuce ratio was good. The ingredients were fresh and most of the lettuce was crisp. Had a hot chamomile tea with honey, also good. Service was friendly and prompt. Overall, I would visit again as long as the quality and freshness of the ingredients stays high.

I guess we were her last year at the same time but I must have been too hammered to remember. So I was a little hesitant, in a sober state. Had the fish sandwich which was great. To make it outstanding I recommend they douse the tomatoes with a little vinegar. I recommend this place.
