Writing this review pains me as I've always enjoyed coming here. Tonight we ordered take out. My boyfriend ordered one of his normally favorite dishes that his Mom makes, scalloped potatoes and ham, but had never had it from here. I ordered something I had before from here, and loved, the Buffalo Chicken Alfredo. The scalloped potatoes was on special. I also had a cup of French Onion, as the VH has one of my favorite recipes. We were told 10 mins. We live 10 mins away, and I made it in 15. Got it back home, and everything was ice cold. Even my soup. The scalloped potatoes and ham were served separate (not cut up ham baked in like him and I have both always had), and the potatoes were so loaded with flour that's all you could taste. My meal, not being a special today, was clearly microwaved left overs that clearly was never even nuked to a decent temp. My garlic bread that comes with the meal didn't even have garlic on it and was so tough from either being frozen and re-heated or left to sit, that I could barely bite into it. The only thing decent was the piece of ham that we saved for breakfast tomorrow. We spent $40 and barely ate half the food. This diner has been around forever and I've never had a bad meal from there. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Meal comes out to you quickly and is done to perfection everytime. I highly recommend this place for anyone who has never been. You won't regret it. As soon as we walked in we were asked if we wanted a table or booth and we wanted a table which was instantly an issue, apparently they didn't want to seat anyone in this one waitresses section. Taking our order the waitress seemed annoyed we were in her section to begin with and when there was a French fry dropped on the floor instead of picking it up we watched 5 employees play kick around with it for about 10 minutes. When we were finally done eating we had to wait 20 minutes for our check, boxes, not even a "hey you need anything" from ANYONE because no one could be bothered to help us. For future reference I will be saving the $40 and staying home. Not what it has been in passed years. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Been coming here my whole life. Never been more disappointed with a fish fry dinner... ever. No coleslaw, what very few fries we got were soggy, clam chowder was so thick (way to much corn starch) I could have sliced it into pieces and made a sandwich. It was terrible. No offense. We had a great meal here. The salads were fresh and our service was really good. The place is very clean including the bathroom. There isn't alot of places to eat in this area, unless you want fast food. So this was a great place to try. Prices are very reasonable. Great place to get many different types of good. From taco salad and Greek salad to fried chicken and goulash. Many choices are available. Many specials daily also. You won't be disappointed.
