I was in store about a month ago and Josh Henderson from stock 2 was the most helpful and kind employee I’ve came across at walmart. I approached him while he was stocking the floor and he had no problem at all to stop and give me the best care possible ! He even checked the store for my daughter mini mouse car item and checked the back stock without any complaints! THANK YOU JOSH !!! Keep up the great work!
Do not place a pick up order from this place. If I could do zero stars, I absolutely would. My boyfriend and I walked inside for a bit and picked up some groceries (some frozen, but it was almost 10° outside, so it should have been fine) and we waited an HOUR for the cirkul flavor pods a family member bought for us. We called half an hour I'm and we told that we were still 8 cars down the list. We had no updates and a couple people that pulled up after got their stuff before we did. It was cold and no one should have to run their car for an hour. The lady in the car next to us waited about an hour as well. I never leave reviews on places because I've worked retail before and know that it can be hell, but this is absolutely ridiculous.
As far as Walmarts go it is pretty good. They could use a lot more self checkout lines with conveyor belts for larger purchases. The ones they have are packed all of the time and people are slow sometimes. Other than that it is clean
Do not upgrade to their in-home membership program. They don’t deliver on time, they don’t compensate or care. Customer service is useless as they have no way of helping with anything. The store … wow, they have the worst delivery service.. they constantly mess up orders and mess everything up.
For good things about the place, they had quite a bit in stock that other Walmarts usually don't, the floors seemed to be fairly clean, there was a pleasantly surprising variety (and amount) of foods (I was impressed by the soups, mainly), and even though customers may not be, the staff themselves seem to be friendly, whether they're happy or having a rough day.
For negative things, first, some staff seem a little slower to respond, though perhaps they were busy, or the place needs more workers that can do cleanup. (Though, of course it was our own fault for dropping that jar of tomato sauce at self-checkout.) Secondly, their price tags are... chaotic. Misplaced, not matching the product, completely all over the place, and there were even multiple strips (where price tags go?) lying everywhere! I found that part amusing personally, but I forgot to inform staff there, so even if we didn't do it, I blame myself a little for that.
If anything changes the next time I go there, I'll try to update this! Some days may be different than others, after all.
Whatever you do, do NOT use pick-up. Still waiting well over an hour and a half just for basic groceries. No more than 20 items. Instead go inside so you can be disappointed inside the store, instead of waiting in your car disappointed.
Also if you do use pick up make sure you gas up beforehand and have at least a couple of hours of podcasts/music ready to go. May want to bring a blanket, snacks and a drink too.
Absolutely do not place a pickup order for groceries. The past three times I've done so, I've gotten home to find half of my items missing. When I call to find out what happened they say it shows they were picked up so it's a nightmare trying to get a refund, not to mention I can't even make dinner because of missing food and their app is down AS ALWAYS so getting my order history is impossible. I'm beyond done giving this Walmart the benefit of the doubt. I'm tired of wasting my time, energy and money. Walmart do better. I will be taking my shopping somewhere else.
I would almost petition to have them open 24 hrs again. I do not go as much. Their online ordering is pretty decent. As long as it is not near closing; pick-up orders are on time. Maybe twice, they forgot an item or two. Needs more employees.
This place is a freaking disaster. There's always stuff shoved everywhere but where it's supposed to be. Most the time the don't have more than half of the things I need. It seems they have trouble keeping their shelves stocked and for that matter the store n general clean. By this I mean the floor is a sticky mess, the shelves have food/drinks spilled all over them. I don't think the Rep for the Greeting Cards ever restocks bcuz they NEVER have certain occasions stocked and when they do have them it's as if they are simply tossed on any shelf and n no particular order. It's ridiculous and please don't get me started on the laziness and absolute disrespect the employees seem to come to work with on a daily basis. Lord forbid someone ask them a question or need their help bcuz by their response u would think that u ask them to hang the gosh darn moon..I have never shopped at a more disorganized, disgusting store who have the utmost disrespectful, ride and lazy people working for them! I will not be back if something doesn't change soon. I'd rather give my business to Kroger, Target or drive to Eastgate and shop at Meijer the two or three times a week that I have to go shopping. WALMART WHATS THE PROBLEM?? Do u not care how these folks represent what u say u stand for???
