So, so good! My go-to local sushi, I go a few times a month. 😊 I really love the Tnt and the Kill Bill; so yummy. Can't really go wrong with any of the rolls. Other favorites are Carribean, 2022, Coco, Hollywood, Godzilla, Cowboy, Valentine, Mars, New York... Gyoza, veggie or shrimp tempura, Lo mein and the teriyaki chicken are also great! Service is very lackluster most of the time, but the food is so good it's easy to look past. Last time we went, the music was soooo loud we had to talk much louder than normal. Consistently the best sushi I have had. The service is always spot on. The food comes quickly, the staff is very nice and the prices are good. Excellent place! While I was slightly disappointed by the spicy salmon roll, the speciality rolls absolutely made up for it. The Valentine, New York, and Idaho rolls were so tasty and filling. Extremely low quality sushi. Almost all rolls are tempura or fake crab. Very little variety. Flavors are gross and boring. Sauce was too sweet and overdone. The prices are stupid high for the terrible quality. The place is pretty small not a ton of seating but they did manage to get us in without a super long wait. I am mystified by so many good reviews. We go out to sushi frequently and decided to try this location because of the reviews and waiting. We showed up at 4:30 not realizing they don't open until 5. We waited in the car until 5 minutes before. The place was completely full within 10 minutes. It is a very small dining area so it wasn't surprising how quickly people came in and left. The staff worked so well together. You don't get a single hostess. They all pitch in and help everyone. The fish tasted fresh, rice was perfectly made, and watching the chefs work so quickly was intriguing. We ordered edamame, The Rainbow, Sunset, Italian, Mirage, Unami, and Mochi. Everything was delicious, although the mochi could have been frozen more. Overall, I give it a 9/10 experience. Awesome service! I love this place for its amazing sushi and it’s a small restaurant so they get food out really fast and it’s consistently the best sushi I’ve ever had. The tnt is my favorite roll. I am very picky about my sushi, but I had a wonderful time eating at 𝑾𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒃𝒊. Their rolls were yummy, vegetable tempura was also really yummy, their service was great, and the atmosphere was so cute and nice! Good vibes all around! I will be going there again soon! 💫🍣❤️ We spent $40 x person, but we had 3 sushi rolls, udon soup, and the vegetable tempura, and I had a glass of wine! If I have to cast a vote for my favorite Japanese place in Draper, it will for sure go to Wasabi. I like the wide range of Japanese food that they offer in their menu and I really appreciate their lunch bento box execution. It’s a perfect mix of everything I like! Service is efficient and pleasant. Our orders were served in a timely and pleasing manner. Everyone working seemed happy and were very pleasant. And to top all of that off, their food is top notch! The sushi here is absolutely 10/10!!! Officially my favorite sushi place😍 too bad I don’t live in Utah, I’ll have to come back another day. We were lucky to come on a Tuesday so we got the Tuesday dinner special. I LOVE tempura shrimp so we got the Italian, October, and TNT! TNT is the 🔥 one that came sizzling in the tin foil (I was surprised, I didn’t expect that), and it’s absolutely THE BEST!!! Very worth it to get no matter if you like salmon or not! I love it when sushi came warm/hot so I’m glad they did it perfectly! My husband loved the tuna sashimi as well. The servers were pretty kind and friendly too! We were gonna get the sea urchin nigiri, but they said what they had wasn’t of good quality, so they couldn’t serve it. At least we appreciated the honesty. Sadly one of the dishes didn’t look very clean when it was first placed on our table. There were also some lint on the dishes and some sushi, but it just means they’re using new cloth to wipe off their dishes. They voided the price of one of the sushi rolls to make up for that, plus the food was just too good, so it didn’t bother me too much.
