We are from Joplin, MO, and came to visit family and take time off for my wife's birthday. The family had to work but recommended Whistle Stop. We drove over for breakfast and are so glad we did. One of their customer's was on his way out & I asked how he liked the Café. He said he was 90 years old and came here every morning. He had many good things to say about the restaurant food, service, and cleanliness. His recommendation was right on target. The restaurant was super clean from front to back. The waitress was so kind and attentive to our needs. She brought the pancakes out on a special plate for my wife's birthday and even sang to her. The food was made from scratch and over-the-top delicious. The owner came out and visited with us before we left. We are not in the area very often, but we will return to this hidden gem when we can. Not impressed . It’s pretty slow and it wasn’t even that busy. Coffee needs to be hotter. Bacon taste old seams to be big deal to try to get crispy bacon. It’s the best breakfast in town in Jonesboro has trouble ! Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Best breakfast in town by a long shot. The breakfast pork chops and the biscuits n gravy are the bomb. Nothing that you order here for breakfast or lunch will disappoint you. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20
