We were cyclists and wanted to stop here. As it was very rainy we were a little bit wet. First the waiter instructed us to bring the bikes away, we were asked, what we want here. Then the waitress brought us to the most uncomfortable place of the restaurant. I never felt so uncomfortable. My wife felt the same. I always thought in Netherlands "fietsers" are welcome. But not in Willaerts. NEVER go there!!!! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Lovely place and good food. It took them to long to serve us and when you propose breath please mention also the price, otherwise 5 stars

We went here for lunch and both chose a salad. Both salads were very tasty. The only thing we missed was any kind of carbs with it, like some slices of bread or baguette on the side. We asked for that, and it was no problem for them which was nice! Overall the service was ok, but they all seemed to run around and not giving attention to signals from us. Several times we had to wait quit a while to get helped for ordering drinks, etc. Still, the salads were tasty and the terrace was very nice, clean, sunny and had a nice view on the river!

We had dinner with 12 at this grand café. Service was great, all meals were received at the same time. We never had the feeling they couldn't keep up, even when ordering more than 3 meal varieties. The quality of the food was very good. From starter to dessert. They have like 6 different beers on tap! Which of 2 them are very good Belgian ones. The atmosphere is great, especially when you're able to sit outside at the lounges around the fire, looking out over the water. Great location!
