Hungry during my layover at DFW Airport. Was recommended to come here by a staff member. Service was good- our waitress was super nice. The food I didn't have high expectations for being in the airport etc. Glad I had that mindset because you'll not be impressed or Wow'd by any of it.... At all. If I had to say get any of the best I'd to get the grilled steak. Chicken was meh. The beef was a complete letdown. Of course you are paying airport type prices- I believe three tacos with rice/beans was $22. I think I'd try finding a sandwich shop or something instead. Server was distracted, food came out, nachos. 8 soggy but burnt chips with your auntie’s (who isn’t allowed to bring anything but napkins to the cookout) ground beef with 10 pouches of the store brand taco powder because she thought if you used ten instead of one it would taste better. *When we asked for the check after only eating a chip each (2) we asked “what is your favorite restaurant in this airport?” She replied “there nice restaurants in D” 😂 -cost $17 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

My husband and I ordered the steak tacos.. the steak wasn’t warm at all and was flavorless. The waitress wasn’t very friendly and seemed high. I went because the reviews were decent but my experience was nowhere near four stars. Overpriced and overrated Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30

Tucked in Gate E off the DFW Airport. I was looking for a cool and relaxed spot to grab some local fare as much as you can get at an airport. I treated myself with the top shelf tequilas for my margarita and very pleased. The chips are perfectly crisp and fresh while the salsa and queso are very tasty. Excellent shrimp tacos - you are paying airport prices ($22 for 3 + beans&rice) but they are good and better than you would expect in an airport. Great airport bar! Sophisticated vibe, great salsa, fresh chips! Beer selection is decent, not many micros on tap. Lots of domestic. But overall great staff! I swill hardly ever go the length to defame or put dirt on a establishment business as I know you can’t trust everyone’s experience as the truth. But truth is I didn’t have any chance to experience what they had to offer outside of a beer that I was rushed to finish and pay for because a angry server. (A Latino you man with a collared shirt alittle too small) upset I was sitting in his empty sedition game planning and grabbing my things for my next flight that got delayed and I originally thought I was gonna miss. Walks up to me rudely and tells me if I bought from the bar I have to sit at the. It’s crowded and just trying to be in and out as I explained to him and he said if I don’t move he is going to make me move. Then as I’m on the phone with my friend asking him if I should still leave him some money although he is being rude cause I know how tough the serving industry is and right on when the server is back telling me am I ready to order and that if not he is going to make me move. I then told my friend this guy is clearly ego driven and he said okay you want to curse me and then he went and grabbed this older Caucasian woman who obviously doesn’t know how to conduct business and have employees treat customers with respect. So that everyone feels they are in a safe self environment. I felt threatened and bullied. Truly embarrassing and unfortunate experience. I will never go back and I will make sure I mention this to everyone I speak with. I see why every other restaurant was very busy and only the bar had people at the taco and tequila place. Who doesn’t like taco and tequila?! Lol how do you not have it packed. Prolly because the lil boy with the ego driven motives is leaving a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. Would give it no stars if I could. Food good, service ok, wanted to wait 20 minutes for lunch menu. Restaurant had many open tables and when we told our waitress that nothing sounded good she gave us a dirty look didn’t say anything and walked off. 2 minutes later the manager told us they were at capacity and in a round about way told us to leave. Came back for lunch and new waitress was nice and attentive food was good for airport food. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Everything was perfect until an older couple walked in and was not so happy with the conversation me and a coworker was having. This is a international Airport so keep your views to yourself. Shift change happened and I'd expect the staff to stay nutrial. After being insulated by the couple that couldn't mind their own. The staff member made his beliefs obvious and should've have minded his own. Disappointed with our experience. Free speech is NOT welcomed here. Fyi!!!
