Besides LeDroit Park, visit 600t in the vicinity. You are to find perfectly cooked tapas. The chef at this bar cooks good doughnuts. Here you can order delicious absinthe, wine or gin. Great coffee is the best drinks of 600t. Invite your girlfriend to this place with a wonderful atmosphere. The hospitable staff welcomes visitors all year round. Nice service is something guests appreciate here. Most reviewers have noticed that prices are low for what you get. Fine fireplace is here to attract more visitors. Heads up this is a cocktail bar so they have light snacks emphasis on light. 600 T gives cozy speakeasy vibes with an impeccable cocktail menu. I also love that they have a black history month menu featuring black owned brands (of liquor). The cocktail menu have a range of spirits so there’s something for everyone including well crafted mocktails. The staff are super knowledgeable and they went above and beyond with their customer service. This is a perfect place for a date night, girls night, meet up with friends, etc. The vibes are so cozy and you’ll have a great time. They also have live jazz. If you haven’t gone. Add this to your list and they take reservations through resy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Have you ever been in an area and never knew a speakeasy was there? I've walked past 600T so many times and had no idea. It's truly a hidden gem! It is extremely cozy downstairs! I love the mood in here, the decor (check out those amazing paintings in the bathroom), and the music is always such a vibe. Oh and for the jazz lovers, every Thursday they have Jazz night which is such a blast! From the moment you walk in, until you leave, the whole staff ensures you are taken care of. The host took our jackets to hang up which I thought was really sweet. The waitresses are all very attentive and very patient. Sometimes me and the girlies get carried away talking and take forever to order, but they never rush us. The bartenders know exactly what they're doing. Every drink I've had has been so good! Sometimes I don't know what my mood is or what I want to order, and the bartender takes the time to recommend a drink and I'm just wowed! Some of my favorites: - Sotol Smash -- it's seasonal, it's delicious, and refreshing - Espresso Martini -- this is the drink I always start with! Gets the night going and I really like the anise in it - You're kinda loud -- I was a little hesitant about this one because I'm not a big scotch girl, BUT it's really balance with the passion fruit, honey, ginger. Just wow! Sooo good! So good I order multiples - Sage badleaf -- becoming one of my go tos and I usually tell my friends to get it too! They're constantly adding more to the menu which I love! There's always some new to try. Make a reservation and check them out! You will not be disappointed. Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had such a lovely time at this cocktail bar/speakeasy. The professionalism from all the staff is unparalleled. Fabian made excellent cocktails, made us laugh, got us seated promptly, overall a total experience. I forgot to catch the name of the other bartenders and staff but each one made the whole energy of the bar come to life. Love the decor, cleanliness, and lovely ambiance. Make sure to make a reservation in advance though!

Absolutely dope speakeasy vibe, expertly crafted cocktails that are immaculately presented, and solid service. We stopped by for a pre-show drink. While the wait to be seated and have our drink order taken could have been far better, the cocktails were worth the wait. We both tried the whiskey martini, and it was definitely one of the boozier cocktails I've had in a while, but not too stiff and fairly well balanced. Love the subterranean main room and the open patio in the back. You'll be happy wherever you sit. Looking forward to coming back to check out more drinks on the menu.

600t was a haven during the early years of the pandemic because of it's back patio. Even to this day, we still prefer sitting out back. Over the years, we've tried the majority of the drinks on the menu, as well as the seasonal offerings. The cocktails are generally always good and well-balanced, and servers are attentive. The food/snack options are pretty limited, so plan to eat before or after your drinks!

The people in my party had been here before and said it was great. This was my first time, and we all agreed it was bad. While the atmosphere was pleasant, with an aroma of incense and and low lightning, once we sat down it was downhill from there. We solidly ignored for no less than 30 minutes. Even after trying to flag the server and make eye contact, he checked on multiple other tables (some right next to us), and checked his phone. When we finally managed to order drinks, they too another 30 minutes, did not come at the same time (mine came a solid 10 minutes before my friend's even though we ordered together), and they were not good. At all. For a specialty cocktail bar, I expected a lot more, particularly from classic drinks. We had multiple in our order and none were made correctly (far too sweet or sour). It's unclear if they have food? I saw some tables with snacks but we were never offered or given a food menu so I don't know what the deal is there. I will not be returning. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Instant favourite speakeasy. Unless you know where you are going, you will not find it. And that makes it all the better. Dim light, soft music, delicious cocktails, and friendly staff. Pair it with good friends or a date, and it will do for a memorable night out in DC. The menu is short but well chosen. Seasonal cocktails were great. Prices range $15-20. Exceptional care and presentation 10/10. It gets busy. Reserve a place in advance. We didn't and got lucky (2 people), but had to wait up a bit (30 min). Positive: one of our cocktail glasses suddenly broke and the staff helped us and replaced it for a new cocktail. Negative: I only remember tall tables. It'd be great to have sofa/armchair seats to enjoy the drinks.
