I was so glad they offered a vegan option! The kimchi fried rice with tofu was a beautiful dish. I felt it was a little pricey as a rice entree and could have had two more slices of tofu. Also the taste was good but it was so salty I couldn’t finish it. Would love to go back and try it again without so much added salt. Thank you for offering vegan options! This is the hidden gem of Coos Bay. We stopped at the other 7 Devils location first and decided to visit this one in the waterfront. It did not disappoint. The crab cakes were the best we have ever tasted. The fish and chips were delicious. The fries are perfect - especially with the Devil’s aioli. Don’t leave out the Mac and cheese, which is superb. The food and beer is excellent. Add in the friendly service and this spot was top notch! Our favorite spot on this west coast trip so far! Fish and chips. Fish was super super greasy. Fries looked like someone broke them all into little pieces. Chicken Ceasar. Surprisingly tasted really good for as much dressing it looked like it had in it. The chicken must be purchased pre cooked and sliced. Chowder is really good and came out hot. Lots of chunks of potato and on the thick side not runny. DUDE!!! This place is amazing!!! The prices are legit, the service and friendliness of the staff is on point, the atmosphere and view is top notch. Their selection of liquor is good, see pic of bar area. Ryan took care of me, and spit some fish knowledge on me. I had the fried oysters to start. Another 7 devils blonde-so good. Then I had the steelhead. Whoodah knew it was in the trout family, with meat like a salmon! Then pureed cauliflower and Brussel sprouts!! Are you kidding me? Honestly the best around. Love this place! Definitely coming back someday soon. Thank you all there for making this a great experience. Very attractive setting on the river. Loved the beautiful wood tables inside and artistic decor. Excellent service and good selection of their Seven Devils beer. We had a Groundswell Ipa which was very good. Menu is diverse with many excellent choices. Our dinner was delicious. Was our first time there and will definitely return. The coastal seafood is first class! Crab cakes $24 with large chunks of crab, steamers $22 in rich broth and fresh grill Halibut $25 are all excellent. As long as the quality of the seafood remains the same, it's worth the higher prices. The alehouse is HC accessible, has water front views and space for larger parties. Clean, with a touristy feel and right off the 101. Note: this is the Waterfront location and the one more in-town is likely different. I got the ribs with fingerling potatoes (basically, little potatoes wedges) and tried their seasonal aged beer and a McCullough on tap. The ribs were FANTASTIC, btw!! It's a little spendy, but well presented and the staff was very accommodating and prompt. I sat at the bar, but with quickly got bored and opted to sit outside in the scarcely protected side area to watch the storm come in and the atmosphere was gorgeous overlooking the Bay while the sun set and the wind & rain blew in. Beautiful setting on the waterfront. Everyone’s meal was delicious — the original Rockfish fish and chips as well as the ceviche were standouts. Our server Robert was awesome telling us about the various draft beers and making us some honey mustard sauce from scratch!
