It’s a nice little family run restaurant stuck between the small roads of the town. The staff is super nice and friendly although we couldn’t communicate much since our Portuguese is very limited. The food is generally good. We really enjoyed the seafood rice. The clams were just ok, nothing really special. Great seafood and very friendly staff. Staff speak English, which is a great help. Prices are reasonable. Only slight letdown was the sardines were a little raw and we asked them them to be cooked a little longer, which they happily did.

I could be saying amazing things about this place for a long time. Portuguese traditional places tend to look old but décor isn't what matters here, they'll treat you best and the quality won't be worse than those touristic ones, always use this rule in a country with tradition: if many locals are eating there, something good must be there! ☕ Don't miss the chance and book with them, remember portuguese eating times and order some Arroz Tamboril, you won't be disappointed. Nice food. Very friendly service. They accept only cash. Bacalhau is good. The salad they serve with main dish can be improved. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Excellent food at reasonable prices and large portions. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals of Bacalhau a Bras and Arroz de Marisco, each a generous serving and so favorful. The staff was very friendly and she also spoke English as well which we appreciated. Highly recommended!

After a long day of walking the the hills of Porto, none of us could wait a hour for a nice outside table.The very accommodating staff found us a table inside. Spencer and and Susa made top-notch recommendations for wine, starters and mains. We finished the great dinner with dessert outside. Josie provided the candles and smiles. Great job A Barca!

Grilled squid was excellent! Very reasonable prices. Only 1 Euro for a cup of house white wine. Friendly service with all smiles. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the street tables. Nice little family run establishment!
