You know when you find a place that you really love and kind of hate to share it ? That is how I feel about A Sereia. The freshest fish, served straight up, right off the grill. No frills, the quality speaks for itself. The waitstaff were super friendly and helpful. We will be back SOON. Very nice restaurant, fresh a la carte fish choices but also has a selection of hamburgers etc. Friendly and attentive service. Being able to observe the fish auction below is a bonus. Typical Fresh fish restaurant right in the harbour. You get catch of the day (of your choice) grilled, and chips, tomato, onion & lettuce on the side. Simple as that, but soo tasty! You pay per kilo fresh fish, the side is included. You can order more chips & salad if you need. The staff are attentive and very friendly. They are many. A great place to eat grilled fresh fish in Sagres. The deserts are good too and the staff welcoming. You should go early (before 12:30) if you don't want to wait, and check the prices of your favorite fish before ordering because prices have skyrocketed over the past years. If I only had to reccomend one restaurant in Portugal it would be this restaurant. The kindest, most helpful most passionate staff. The food was amazing, very fresh right on top of the market. Was a good view to see the fishermen drop off their catches of the day after our meal. The cooking quality was very good too. The atmosphere was very good, the perfect seafood restaurant.
