Great food, service and atmosphere. Very nice music and very helpful staff. The menu is great and there are lots of drinks options. I ordered the fish of the day and it was amazing! Comimos fenomenal. Las lapas muy ricas con el toque de ajo, queso fresco, pulpo rebozado ( Angie no sabe tanto a pulpo), un plano de gambas y pescado hecho como unas gachas, muy rico, y un guiso de pulpo que nos dio para compartir entre cuatro. Go early or expect to queue! It’s worth the wait - for us it was the best food we had on the island. I loved the dishes you can’t find elsewhere. Was in the Azores, ponta Delgada, with my best friend on vacation. Our tour guide recommended grabbing dinner here and sharing a bunch of items. It was wonderful!! The staff here make you feel very welcome and even catch themselves singing/enjoying the evening with you! They spoke English and were very kind! We ordered a bunch of different items and everything was delicious (highly recommend the cheese/walnuts in a pastry and the beef stew!). The food was a great deal (very affordable) and you’ll leave full! It is a relaxed and chill atmosphere. Very suitable for groups, date night, or with the kiddos. Also the desserts are not to be missed (we had the bean tart & pineapple cake), both were great! Highly recommend you enjoy a meal here!!! A beautiful restaurant where you can gather with friends and family. Menu has lots of variety food and drinks. Price is incredibly inexpensive. Beers were great. Loved black sweet beer. Ambience was great. Cozy, fun, warm and lively. We started with Portuguese kale & sausage soup which was just ok. Garlic bread and shrimp with garlic and wine were great appetizer. Stewed octopus with potatoes were good. Pork cheek was too gamey for me. Tuna with sesame seed sandwich was not good. Very fishy and chewy. Cappuccino and pineapple cake was amazing! Fuimos a las 17h, hicimos comida/cena. Los platos son grandes. Está abierto para comidas todo el día. Hay trina y cambiador para bebés. Fuimos sin reserva. El pulpo asado muy bueno, pero hay pulpo para dos o tres personas. La carne de cerdo con patatas buena, pero sin más. El pudding de piña buenísimo. De precio 50€, dos entrantes, dos principales, dos bebidas y 1 postre. This place is the best food you can find on the island. They have great local dishes at good prices. I tried the local beer and wine. Don't miss the sausages and grilled shellfish that tastes like abalone. They also serve different grilled fish, depending on what they catch. It's all local food. Lugar muy céntrico en Ponta Delgada. Imprescindible ir con tiempo ya que se llena super rápido y te vas apuntando por hora de llegada. Nosotros llegamos a las 18:30 de la tarde y a las 20:30 aprox nos dieron mesa. Es uno de los restaurantes más clasicos de la isla asi que por eso su popularidad. La comida es buena y el precio es correcto. No es barato por lo que ofrecen pero dada su fama y la oferta en la isla esta muy bien. El servicio es bueno.
