Love this food. Not your typical AZ style. Sauces are flavorful and generous. The calabicitas are like mama used to make. Happy hour starts early on Monday. The atmosphere is authentic and calm. We were seated right away, we got chips and salsa immediately. Our server got our drink/food order right away as well and our food came out quick!! Everything was delicious!!! While I've had issues with too much salt at another location, the Arrowhead restaurant was fantastic. I don't usually start with this kind of information, but the restroom was exceptional. Why you ask? Have you ever washed your hands in a restaurant? Or really any retail store? Ajo's actually had HOT water at the sink! Now on to the meal.. The service was spot-on. Chips and salsa were received within 2 minutes. The server followed up right after for our drink order, then took our food order a few minutes later when he delivered the drinks. So far, so good. We ordered guacamole as an appetizer, which came out very quickly. Delicious. Huge. Fresh. Fantastic. Within 10-12 minutes our meals arrived. Hot plates and hot food. Hallelujah! We ordered the same thing, a taco & enchilada combo. Everything was delicious. No flaws at all. I enjoyed it very much and will be returning soon. Peace out. I had the street tacos and my husband had the pollo con queso and we both really enjoyed our food. I had one of each flavor option and all were flavorful and paired well with the toppings. Our waitress was super friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is laid back and the volume was great for conversation. Would definitely recommend. Portion sizes are a little small for the price. Our server Blake has been fantastic both times I've eaten here. The booths are unequally spaced between the table and the booth chairs which isn't great but this place always smells fantastic. Even when I'm done eating, the smell of the food around me is delicious! Will definitely be back. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
