We loved grabbing brunch here on the patio! Absolutely beautiful views with yummy food. Quite a few places for photo ops. The food was great, service was quick and very affordable. The only thing is getting to this restaurant will take going up a pretty steep hill, so make sure your car can take it!

we totally love this place. It's a wonderful rustic place with amazing views down the hillside. Service was great and other customers in the Cottage were friendly and easy to talk to. We had good coffee. Later, we went out to meet the sheep. This was kind of a let down since the sheep (like any animals) were only interested in aggressively going after the food pellets that we had brought in.

Wow! I will return to this restaurant again. The meals were excellent. Drinks were tasty. Unfortunately, they do offer many good food choices for westerners. Most food dishes are pork. The view is a good reason to come here. Quiet and soft atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is helpful is you have a truck to climb the hill to this restaurant

The food here was very good. An amazing view of the big Buddha. They have a sheep petting zoo on site, and you can feed the animals. We stopped by on the way to another café, we are lucky we happened to find this place. If following Google Maps, please note that it is up on top of a very steep hill. You will need a good vehicle or some good walking legs to get up there. Well worth a visit of your in the area.

No place like Akha Cottage! The coffee is great, the dishes are unique, the atmosphere makes you relax the moment you walk in, and the view is scenic. Add your name to the many guests Thatcham before you. Go "hang" in the nets, grab a pillow first. Chat with Arthur the friendly, knowledgeable owner, and don't forget a selfie with the sheep! (next door, same owner). Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person ฿100–200

Great view, good Akha food, good coffee. Service is ok, seating and decor are varied/funky. Most of the place has no aircon, so I wouldn't recommend it for the hot season. The road to get up to it is steeeeep!

If you like to enjoy your coffee with a nice view (Wat Huay Prakang) this place is the place to be. A pretty steep road leads you to this coffee shop. But it's worth it. In my opinion coffee and Thai tea is a little bit overpriced. Don't forget that this is Chiang Rai and not Krung Thep. Quality of the coffee is okay though. The Thai Tea too sweet, but that's always up to the customer. So no complain. I ordered sweet corn with garlic. Honestly, for the price (THB 60) I cannot complain, but it was blend. Conclusion: recommendable. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I can say that this place is stunning. I love the way how they built the café and how they keep to serve the original of the Akha culture. The food is great, especially fried Yoon-nun noodles. But be careful of riding or driving up to the hill. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person ฿300–400
