Makes the best “simit” in Istanbul. Everything they sell is very fresh and delicious. The store gets very crowded most of the time, but their service is very fast and efficient. We went on a Guru walking tour and our guide took us to this square after visiting the Tomb of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari. Omg the almond cookies are amazing!! The coconut macaroon cookies are equally as good. I hear they deliver and post cookies in the mail on WhatsApp. Great value as well and not a tourist rip off price that we encountered in most of Turkey since it is a very local place. Well done!!

The fabled almond cookies are really just your average marzipan/macaron type of thing. Your mileage may vary. The simmit kandil, however, are great!
