This is the greatest spot near Parroquia Catolica de San Jose. If you want to taste Argentine and Uruguayan food, get your chance and come to this steakhouse. Tasty pies, empanadas and flank steaks can be what you need. Make a change from your customary meal and try good ice cream, parfait and che at Al Chimichurri. Walking up the steps Ruben greeted us with a smile, and gave recommendation of the most popular dishes they serve, I order the Churrasco steak M temp. It was cooked to perfection, even asking me to cut in between the steak to make sure it was the right color for me and it did not disappoint, my girl order a sangria that was DELICIOUS. The staff is so kind and helpful to me and my family. If I was able too, I would eat there every day. The food is amazing but the service is even better. I highly recommend it if you enjoy terrific food and service. Felix and Inez were so kind and went above and beyond for us. My son did not feel good and Inez made a special drink for him that immediately settled his tummy. She spoke so kindly to him as well. They were a great team. This restaurant was delicious! Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to our group of 5. What a great meal we had here.!! The empanada literally brought me to tears remembering my mom's recipe. The food, The atmosphere, and service were excellent, and very resonable prices!! Best place for a great steak! HOWEVER....We are fans of Al Chimichurri restaurant here port side. Tonight's dinner however was soured when our waiter added close to 1000 pesos to our bill!. When we questioned it, a different waiter said it was a mistake ...then our waiter returned with the correct bill and laughed when we asked about the mistake and walked off! Obviously we paid WITHOUT a tip and he was pissed at us! Be aware and double check your bill!! We are regulars and it left a really bad impression. We had never had this particular waiter before and he took off so fast we couldn't get his name . The worst part is no apology from anyone not even the manager and that waiter just laughed .😡 The best waitress there is INEZ. Always ask for Inez. She is attentive and so sweet. Definitely try their pizzas and coffee too. It's unfortunate that this one waiter ruined what was a lovely dinner for our out of town guests and gave them such a poor impression. Cool spot. Smells amazing. Then empanadas were great, nice fresh and hot. . For the mains we had pizza and lasagna. Definitely good but it could have been hotter as it all was just Luke warm. Service was good as well.

Chimichurri has been one of the best options for dinner in Puerto Morelos for years. The Staff is very friendly, the food is amazing, great wine selection and they have plenty of choices on their menu. 5 stars without a doubt.
