Cashier's are friendly. Their app and digital coupons are where you'll get your best savings. The produce section is hit or miss. I've had times where grapes were moldy within a day of purchase, romaine turning bad within 5 days. I try buying only what will be used in a day or 2 now as prices are high everywhere, you can't afford to throw food out. They have a great seafood & meat selection, again I only buy what's on sale each week, regular prices are just too high right now.
Prices are kind of high but sometimes the store location is just convenient to go to. HOWEVER, we will not be coming back after this racist interaction.
My boyfriend (black and a military veteran) and his service dog (pitbull) went in to get some stuff but they ended up not having everything he wanted so he put the juice back and left.
As he got to the car, I see this white lady yelling at him calling him a dirtbag and yelling if he put it back. SHE ACCUSED HIM OF STEALING. A FREAKING BOTTLE OF JUICE.
While he went back in to speak to the manager regarding the employee and even told them to check the cameras, she continued to be harassing him about it inside the store.
Albertsons, I am appalled at this interaction. A person like her should not be working at your establishment.
I will be sticking to Winco and Trader Joe’s. They have always provided excellent customer service and have never been discriminating to us.
As others have mentioned, this Albertson's is really a cut above. Nice store, well stocked. Great floral department, too. This visit we stopped in for road trip snacks and we were able to find everything we craved, from sushi to sandwiches, diabetic friendly pre-made snack boxes, ripe bananas, salted nuts and more. Easy to use self check or regular checkout available. Big parking lot in a shopping center with several other stores around so you can complete several errands at once. Bonus for clean restrooms that are all the way to the right at the front of the store.
They do NOT want to blow balloons here. You will get an attitude and half blown balloons. They kid said he could only fill them this much which was the size of a baseball pretty much. Everyone I came across to ask about the balloon blowing had absolutely extreme attitude and just didn't want to do it. The kid tried to tell me the balloons I bought here could not be brown up here they had to say something special on the front? Once I responded he agreed to do it but did an aweful job!
IMO, Albertsons in general, is a 5 star grocery store. I had a very positive experience at the branch I visited yesterday in Murrieta, Ca. (California Oaks Rd.) There was a $20 mistake I found on my receipt as I was leaving the store. I went to customer service, and was immediately given a reimbursement. As I was leaving for the 2nd time, I noticed that the reimbursement was not complete. I talked with Harlan, a manager about it. We figured out why the reimbursement was not complete. The item I purchased, was on the top shelf with several of the same items. It had a tag that showed it was a sale item. The problem was, that those items were placed there by one of the employees, by mistake. Harlan said he would honor that sale price, (even though it was for a different item), as it was clear it was their mistake, not mine. I received the complete reimbursement of $20. Thank You Albertsons! Thank You for Excellence in Customer Service, and Savings!🏅💲💵💰 🤑🥰
The two pack of tomatoes had one that had mold on it. It was clear wrapping but the rotten side of the tomato was placed downward so no one could see it. The rest was still usable but I’m disappointed because we just bought these a couple hours ago…

i’m highly upset i’ve been in california for 2years i’m from the midwest the one thing i brag on was the produce here and n california telling people the regular produce here looks better than Chicago's whole food organic produce it would be true if it’s statos brothers or barons albertsons produce looks used i even called to speak to a manager about their withered produce he gave me a line of bs on how they strive to have the best produce in their store i laughed i’ll never go in any Albertsons' again maybe they need to close up and just become a bakery and that’s not that great i even gave them a second chance the celery was soft as tissuemy recommendation is statos brothers or barons i’ve never seen bad produce every time i’ve been to either stores they baby the produce putout high quality produce great stores if i could give albertsons a zero i would albertsons is garbage
Just went shopping here overall experience was great, I got what I need and I checked out at the self check out. That’s where I had an issue.
There was a short stout blonde haired manager watching the self checkouts when I used them.
I needed 2 bags and when I approached her to get those bags she was having a conversation with one of her employees. She was reprimanding him I front of everyone at the self checkout. I asked for bags and she ignored me. Another employee walking by saw and got me the bags.
There is no scenario where it is okay to talk down to your employees, especially in a public place and in front of costumers. She should have taken him to an office and talked to him there. This experience left such a bad taste in my mouth after leaving. She was completely unprofessional!
