Visiting from out of town. Walked in to order the famous Torta Cubana in size: grande. They have fast service from my experience. The Torta was much bigger than I had anticipated, and it was stacked. I recommend regular size if you dont have a big appetite. The torta is really tasty. Authentic taste, like a real mexican torta. Salsa was on point as well.

Torta Cubana
This place should have a higher rating. It is a true gem in Compton. You walk inside this hole in the wall and you see posters of classic rock figures such as Kiss, Mana, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The doors and even the popular El Chavo Del Ocho. The service is excellent, the duo there work at a fast pace during the busy lunch hour to get your order ready. I got the torta Cubana which was loaded with milanesa, cheese, weenie, egg, onion, chorizo, ham, lettuce, tomato, in between a big bolio sourced from a local bakery. You this sandwich is massive and you need a partner to help you finish it. I also got to try the California burrito which is loaded with guac, carne asada, French fries, cheese, pico de Gallo, and crema. This place is worth checking out. Specially if you have a big appetite.

I wanted to give it a try since there was so many great reviews . The tortas were big however the meat had no flavor whatsoever. I had ordered ahead of time and when I arrived my order was not ready . Once the order was ready I only received 1/2 of my order which I realized it Once I started to drive by home. I called and the lady said it was not showing on her end . I told her I was charged almost $43 and I'm able to see it on my end .She then proceeded to tell me that she was able to see it now and she overlooked it. I had to turn around and wait for the rest of my order. We ordered 2 tacos as well 1 al pastor and 1 chicken and they did not even smell like it . It smelled like old oil and obviously we did not eat them . Overall the lady was apologetic but food was not worth the price.

So my father who knows all the little spots brought me here. I got the $5.95 burrito…no it is not small. It was so tasty. The Cuban Torta is bomb. This place has all kinds of Antojitos to match your taste.

Saw this place on IG and had to check it out. Drove out on a Saturday night with the familia and dug in!! Had La Famosa Torta Cubana, asada fries, surf-n-turf burrito and La Bamba strawberry pineapple house lemonade. Portions are perfect for husky Latinos but might be a little too much for those watching their weight. Know what I mean? It was pretty damn good and the prices are reasonable. Cool ambiance. Staff is pretty chill and friendly. They will gladly give you suggestions. You gotta check this place out. Keep doing y'all thing. That La Bamba drink tho....💯💯

So delicious! The gentlemen at the injector shop across the street highly recommended we get some Tortas here. We are so pleased and full. Definitely recommend Alexander's to hungry people. Thanks for the great food and music while I waited.
Meant to make the video before I ate, but it was really good, Had a breakfast burrito and a drink...the bacon was cooked to perfection and I love cheese and it was just all so good...I highly recommend and if looking for the place just ype in Alexanders into the GPS and it should work for those not of the area...but yeah good people and good food...5/5 ⭐ and excellent service as well, and the music they have playing is just another reason to enjoy it

Just had the torta la cubana and honestly one of the best that I've had the meat was super soft not chewy not dry just right very satisfied I was only going to eat one half but because it was so good I ended up eating the whole thing
The sign at the location is called "gigantezca tortas" FYI. Dont miss it. But this place is pretty cool They have the classic tortas we all love. But also their own signature tortas. El Chavo, el Chapo, highway to hell burrito. This place is Like where an American born latino would love to eat. The food is great but not like bomb! I mean you get excited to read the ingredients but you expect bigger flavors. That being said wifey loved it. The chorizo is basic, cant taste it. I got the mexicana and the pork tasted like tinga. Salsa was watered yet somehow still had flavor. The restaurant needs to operate and cook with confidence and the food and staff have way to much character to not grow or think of more stuff.
