A hugh variety of local dishes. We were seated and our order taken immediately on arrival. The food was prepared and presented in a timely manner. All the food was delicious. Lots of vegetarian choice. Fresh fruit juices were were particularly good. Alis is a typical Kenyan cafe serving mainly Kentan dishes such as ugali and beans. They do serve chips, and you can have omlette. Occasionally even a sausage! Hygiene wise the cafe is fairly clean but not up to Western standards by any means. The service is ok in Kenyan terms, the food is ok and prepared and served fairly quickly.
