Red Velvet Cake
Nice, modern cafe in Al Hamra with a wide variety of hot and cold beverages and baked goods. The cafe is impeccably clean and well maintained. The staff are excellent and efficient. Recommended stopover for a coffee and a quick bite. We used the restrooms which were very clean and well equipped. Kudos to the staff and management.
1) Service: although we ordered first a (rather dominant) local guide with his 2 tourists was served first.
2) Food: We ordered a sandwich tuna and 2 persons independantly suspected the tuna to be spoiled. We did not dare to eat it.

It took a while to get the food. The breakfast sandwich wasnt good, but the iced coffee and croissant were good. Spacious place, and a bit more modern than other places in the area.
An amazing little coffee Haven in the middle of no where. You'd want a good cup of coffee and and rich sweet treat after a grueling Shams summit.

They serve proper coffee (i.e. expresso, cappucino, etc. from a proper expresso machine) here which is somewhat rare in this part of Oman. The guys are other than that helpful with setting up wifi etc.
