Come here for some rest after a long walk around Edison Tech Center. To try nicely cooked breakfast sandwiches, chicken salads and bacon is a truly nice idea. Try good muffins, Brezeln and blueberry pancakes. Delicious beer or good Mimosas are among the best drinks to order. At this cafe, guests can drink great latte, hot chocolate or tea. Ambition Coffee & Eatery is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. From the visitors' point of view, prices are democratic. At this place, people can enjoy the lovely atmosphere and beautiful decor. 4.6 is what this spot got from the Google rating system.

OMGoodness this place is amazing. Staff was attentive, food was absolutely delicious. Prices are very reasonable . Parking was easy to find but a little walk so if limited mobility may cause issue. Not sure if there is another entrance. Ham cheddar sandwich with apples, red onion and pumpkin mayo pictured was so good. First time, not so bad! The lunch menu is mostly sandwiches and wraps so making a selection wasn’t very difficult. The bread sets everything apart and I have to say, the cranberry jam they put on the sandwiches is very tasty. The retro vibe makes the dining experience fun. I say sit in the back area if you want to be more secluded. Our waitress was super nice, recommended items from the menu - which has a large mimosa selection. I say less juice and more champagne next time. Major tip, If you plan on having breakfast here during the week, make sure you arrive before 11 am!!!!! There is a good reason why Ambition has such a strong following and is the go-to spot for so many people living, working and visiting in Schenectady. Their home fries are 5 stars and they have a large breakfast menu that is great. But their dinner options are NEXT LEVEL! The fact that their tiny kitchen can consistently put out such incredible food is amazing. Now, the only sad part is they don't always offer dinner, it's usually just for Proctors shows. But wow, if you get a chance to come for dinner, cancel all your other plans and come here. Fresh, delicious food from appetizers, through their huge main course portions and great deserts. Try something new and you won't be disappointed.

This used to be my go-to breakfast spot. I used to go weekly and sometime multiple times a week. Pancakes are so fluffy and to die for. Service has been extremely hit or miss lately. On top of everything the past few visits, the home-fries have been undercooked and cold, and the coffee is now undrinkable. I kept coming in hoping these were one-off instances. I don’t know what specifically has led to these changes but I loved this place. Now I can’t justify making the trip. Wow what a cute spot to check out. I've lived in the area for a long time & don't know how I missed this place. What a creative, whimsical and delish establishment Ambition Coffee & Eatery is. 1st the decor must be seen... the artworks, the record wall & whimsy menu. Great food was served & excellent service by the staff. Stop by and enjoy yourself, I will again for sure. Delicious breakfast with a cool vibe....the French omelette keeps me coming back over and over. And my goodness those boozy muffins are heavenly. This place is adorably kitschy. The from the eclectic wall decor to the fun menu naming, it is a great place for a drink and relaxing meal. The staff was very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the Bluffin' With my Muffin sandwich (not pictured), the pretzel bun was so soft and not too dense as some can be. My daughter ordered the Avocado Toast and declared it to be the best she has ever had, she was so impressed y the squeeze of lemon and sprouts (she lives in Long Island and has A.T. often) I had the eggs Benedict special and it was clear that it was made with love. The ham was delicious the hollandaise sauce was not gloopy and the home fries were well seasoned and actually crispy. I also had the hot chocolate and it was chocolatey deliciousness. The only negative about the place, my husband said the bathroom was reminiscent of a dive bar bathroom but I am not deducting any points because everything else was perfect. Amazing restaurant, it’s small but totally worth the wait if you need to have one I swear. My mother and I go to breakfast every Saturday and we decided to try this place this morning and I will say we both said we will be back. Prices are cheap. You can tell the food is fresh, like I would say farm fresh. This is definitely a hidden gem in Schenectady. The place was packed and it didn’t even seem like we waited that long for our food. They are just incredible. I want to go back for their lunch because that menu looked even more amazing than their breakfast. Highly recommend this place will be one of my new favorite breakfast restaurants and I promise if you try it you’d say the same thing!
