Probably, the first foreign franchise in coffee shop industry, that has been opened in our oil capital. It is located in the downtown and nice for take-away. As there is a little space inside, I wouldn’t plan to have an appointments over there. The decorations reminded me Traveller’s one, not sure who copied.
Even though, I used to like this brand in Almaty, I was a little disappointed with our brunch. First thing was slow service. Three coffees took them 30 minutes. Secondly, the taste of coffee was a little bit below the expectations. Kinda too rough. The third dissatisfaction was the quality of pastry. Both, croissant and carrot cake were not fresh, seems they stayed a couple of days. Croissant’s dough was too thick. Carrot cake couldn’t be eaten till the last bite.
I really hope this was kinda first days issue. But, for a while I will avoid till they start improving the mentioned things.
