I wish I could give 6 stars. The place was so nice. The owner was so nice. They were in contact with us for days, giving us suggestions to maximize our joy and comfort at home and in the city. And the view. Don’t dare to offer them but the place, I already did and I am first in line in case they ever decide to:) just book the apartment!!!
The host is super friendly and nice. Very welcoming, we spent four nights and it felt like home. Goran (the host) is one lively and fun man with a good heart, he's super nice too.
We had a fantastic stay, greeted at the airport by Goran who was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Apartment was stylish and great size with an excellent view of the bay from two balconies. Excellent location with cafes/bars right on the seafront outside the apartment and a 15/20 minute walk into the old town which we did every evening. Apartment had all the modcons including coffee machine, spa bath, air con and flat screen tvs in each room. Lucky to have a second floor apartment with excellent views! We had a thorough walk round by Goran of the apartment when we arrived and everything was explained to us in great detail. Would highly recommend staying here when visiting Kotor - friendly host, excellent location and views to die for. What more could you want?
We spent 4 nights in the 2 bed apartment which is at the front above the pizza restaurant below. What a great apartment! It was very clean, comfortable, quiet and well appointed but the best bit of it was the great balcony looking directly over the bay. It was really lovely to sit with a beer looking out over the amazing view. Goran was generous host who gave us a mobile phone for our stay should we have any problems. I would echo what others said about the pizza restaurant below. The pizzas were really very good indeed and was one of the nicest dinners we had in Montenegro. In terms of location, the apartment was about a 15 minute stroll along the prom to the walled old town. Such a nice walk to do every day. I would absolutely recommend these Windrose Apartments and I look forward to returning there at some point.
The proprietor was very helpful and accommodating. We had a really delicious pizza in the adjoining restaurant/bar. The room was incredibly clean and had all the modern comforts you could want. This has clearly been a labor of love for the proprietor. The apartment is just a short walk (maybe five minutes) along the beautiful harbor to the gates of the old city. We hope to return again someday!
Great location, walking distance to old town and restaurants. ||Friendly owner, who happens to make a pretty good pizza in his restaurant on a lower level. Our room, which had a water view,was fully equipped with new appliances and decor. Very nice view, overlooking the water.||||Only recommendation would be a larger sign in front. Although my GPS took me right there, I had trouble locating it.
This is a review for the restaurant located at the roadside waterfront of Apartment Windrose. Its a charming little place situated just on the bay with a fantastic view. The owner and staff are an absolute delight. They are extremely attentive, friendly and dish out some lovely pizzas. The place is small, charming and basic with a very relaxed vibe. Somehow the traffic whizzing by just adds to the charm of the place. How we discovered it further corroborates the yumm quotient of their pizzas. It was recommended by the owner of a competing restaurant. He assured us we wouldn't be disappointed. He was right. We were a family of four. All vegetarian.
The apartment was as described and contained all of the amenities necessary for a self-catering stay. The furnishings were very comfortable and it was spacious. Our apartment on the second floor had a brilliant view over the Bay of Kotor (ask for a second floor apartment). Goran, the owner and our host, could not have been more helpful or obliging. I don't want to list all of the things he did for us for fear that it might mean other guests come to expect his offerings rather than be surprised by him, his staff and his service. Suffice to say, it's an exceptional value for money stay and with Goran, you cannot fail to be satisfied.
We stayed in these apartments for a week at the beginning of July. They were comfortable, quiet, modern and fantastic value. There was air conditioning in every room which was needed in the heat, tv's in two rooms and a great view from the balcony over the Bay. Goran, the owner, was very hospitable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him! The cleaner was thorough and very friendly and Goran's Mum produced some complimentary surprises every few days. It was handy having his cafe downstairs for a drink or snack. The apartments were located a short and pleasant walk from the brilliant Kotor old town. I would definitely recommend Kotor and these apartments.
Beautiful apartment, already 6 years coming to Kotor, and this is the best smestak where I was. The location on the shore about 20m from the sea. Away from the city of some 700-800m, the apartment is near the headquarters of taxi companies, so you always have a taxi available. The apartment is large and spacious, equipped with quality furniture, modern kitchen appliances, air-conditioning, underfloor heating, LED lighting in all the rooms TV with over 300 international channels, the American wardrobe, a large double bed, very comfortable. Internet free wifi in the apartment, the restaurant, the promenade is very fast, 80mb / s. The restaurant is also a bar and have a varied selection of drinks and foods you have a sweet breakfast, sandwiches, pizzas and homemade hearty breakfast, which you have to try a business that you do not have to eat that evening 😁 Cafe is very likable and has a lot of interesting details, modern and very friendly. The staff is very courteous and apartments gostoprimvo. Owner Goran is there for you at all times, and are you whenever needed. Cleanliness is at the highest level, it is very peaceful and quiet, the apartments have everything you need. The price is very reasonable. If you arrive in Kotor, this is the place to get settled.
