Absolutely delightful place! The food, the atmosphere, the service - everything is top notch. We dined here 4 days in a row and it was amazing. Forget the standard menu. My advice is to order the dish of the day: soup of the day, dish of the day, and dessert. That way you can try the traditional dishes at a very attractive price. Great local food for a great price. Service was great even though the place was full! We had the fried fish and the beef (both delicious), green soups (caldo verde), beer and a coke all for 20 euro. One the best meals in Ponta. I had the beef. The tuna was on the salty side but the pork chops and the beef were really tender and delicious. The owner was super busy but taking care of his customers with a smile. The beer super cold. The lowest price meal we had as well. Highly recommend it. Just had dinner here today (May 5, 2022). I honestly said we liked our experience and recommend the restaurant for you. Pros: 1. Great location, just few minutes by walking from city center of Ponta Delgada. 2. They sell Portuguese food with various menu. 3. The price is cheap. We spent €13,30 for both. 4. The portion is enough. 5. I ordered fried fish with potatoes and salad, it is good. My partner ordered prego. It is good too, the meat is thick. 6. The staffs are friendly, nice, and attentive. 7. Free wifi. 8. Free restroom. 9. Dine-in, take away, but no delivery. 10. You must try the fish soup. It is so tasty. 11. They accept payment in cash. 12. Live football match on TV while eating. 13. The restaurant is not so big but have several tables. Cons: 1. The service took a little bit slower. 2. The bife of prego was too salty. They need to reduce the quantity of salt. 3.
