Perfect for family and for a lady's brunch! The choice of mimosas are amazing! We had a skilled, breakfast nachos, an omlett , church's and waffles and they were all amazing!! Between three of us we almost ate everything because it was that great! Service was just as awesome! Wish they had a private room you could reserve because we'd have all the family dinners!!! I saw someone post this on Instagram and decided I'd give it a shot. Man am I glad I did. This place was absolutely well worth it. They have 2 locations. 1 in Overland Park and another in Olathe. I personally went to the Olathe one because we were celebrating a birthday and the OP one only seats parties up to 8 people and we had 15. Now let's get to the food. Everything was exceptional. You can't go wrong with what ever you choose. I had a skillet. Muah, chefs kiss.🤌🏾. $10 hefty mimosas. They have towers as well. My only complaint is that they don't serve turkey sausage or turkey bacon. They do have a choice of turkey but it's like deli meat turkey 😔. This was an all around great place to visit. From staff, food, and service everything was great. Although this place lacks on space, it doesn't lack on flavor. Give it a try....... Went and had brunch with friends today...IT WAS LOVELY! Now I know where I will be bringing my Mom for her birthday. So surprised by because that location has been so many restaurants and I stopped going to that building because it just had a stigma to it for me. Sooooo many selections, the food was so good, the atmosphere was so welcoming. Loved it & it is now my "go-to" for breakfast/brunch from now on! Everyone needs to visit, highly recommended! I love that they bring a BIG carafe of GOOD hot coffee to the table. Chilaquiles are usually either really good or really bad: these are great! (I opted for green salsa and sunny side up eggs.) Mexican skillet was also excellent and generous portions. Two other guests had the traditional combo with "extra crispy bacon" and pancakes, all of which was well executed. Great service and we enjoyed our visit! Food was delicious!! Everything seemed freshly made to order & you get a lot for your money! The bloody mary seemed to have a little too much tomato juice. The mimosa was a little pricey at $10, but it was really good & it was in a wine glass rather than a champagne flute, so that kinda makes up for the price! There was a slight sewer smell when sitting by the windows, but that could be because I think it's a little bit of an older bldg. Overall, I'd def recommend this place! My mom and I went for some food and it was packed but that means it good. I got the fried chicken and waffles and my mom got the baconado(?) skillet and my food was absolutely delightful. It took a bit for the food to arrive but that’s understandable considering how many people there were. The chicken was covered in like maple syrup and had some powdered sugar and it was really good. The bottom of the plate had honey on it and I’m not a big fan of honey but it’s fine bc the food was amazing. The waffles had powdered sugar on them and I drizzled some syrup on them. Some dude that was apparently named Oscar gave us a horchata waffle and it was delicious. My taste descriptions are weird but to me it tasted like what a pumpkin spice candle smells like, like I don’t think it had any pumpkin but it gave me the warm and cozy feel of an autumn morning hanging out with family and drinking hot cocoa wrapped in warm blankets. The waffles were so soft. This area had previously had a few worse off restaurants but AR’S Breakfast & Brunch seems to be the only one that may survive.
