Great ambience. Nice music. Friendly staff. The food taste great. A lot of choices. The drinks also nice. Not too sweet. Ample of parking, easy to find, the restaurant located just near the Starbucks Marina. Recommended to all. Try their food. It’s worth it.

it was my first time dine in here and i like the ambiance of the cafe. it’s cozy and really comfortable. the music is not too loud and matches with most customer’s taste.
their customer service was top notch; their waiter and cashier are very friendly, calm, understanding, nice and honest.
food taste amazing; just nice, not too spicy or salty.. and it’s not very pricey too (kudos to the chef 👩🍳 )
you can choose to sit outside or inside of the cafe, as it provides both open air and indoor seating.
i would recommend their Ayam Butter and Daging Salai.. it’s a must try for me 👍🏻

1st star for the beautiful romantic ambience of the restaurant.
2nd star for the good food. I ordered Nasi Goreng Cornbeef and it was good and my friend ordered Nasi Chicken Butter and it was good too.
3rd star for the nice food presentation.
4th star for the cheap and affordable food price.
I took one star off because when I was visiting the cafe last October, the staffs were not following SOP as they are seen to not wear a mask on their face and its all of them in the front house. Last thing, I'm also quite dissapointed with the taste of the drinks, it's like I'm drinking tap water as it is TAWAR and doesn't taste like drinks at all although the drinking glass look aesthetically pleasing and pretty.

The place is aesthetically appealing especially for younger generations. The staff were very friendly as well. Not only that, but the food was delicious and affordable. The Lelapan Daging Salai is served with a variety of vegetables including tempeh, meat is cooked perfectly with a perfect taste of sweet and savory with a smoky scent which is just salivating, and 2 different sauces (spicy sour, spicy sweet). The drinks in the photo were also great. It was creamy and easy on the sweetness level which makes it easy to continuously drink it. As it enters your mouth, the aroma of the drink is clear to the point you immediately recognise the flavour if you're a Malaysian local. This place is definitely one of my go-to cafes for an outing with friends, significant partner and family.

My family and I recently visited Armel's Kitchen during our trip from Kuching to Miri, looking forward to a delightful dining experience together. The restaurant had some strong positives but also left us with a somewhat mixed feeling.
The food at Armel's Kitchen was undoubtedly a highlight. From the very first bite, it was evident that the chef takes great pride in their creations. Each dish was packed with flavor and left us craving for more. The menu offered a variety of options that pleased both adults and kids, making it a great choice for families like ours.
Moreover, the initial interaction with the staff was quite positive. The team that took our orders was attentive, friendly, and efficient. It's always a relief when you can place your order with confidence and feel well-taken care of.
However, our experience took a slight downturn when the same staff member who had initially taken our order engaged in a conversation with a boy waiter seated at the cashier counter. While we understand that staff members are also entitled to their breaks and social interactions, the fact that they were laughing and talking while glancing over at our table made us uncomfortable.
As a mother dining with my husband and children, it's important for us to feel comfortable and relaxed during our meal. Unfortunately, the jovial behavior of the staff seemed to change the atmosphere at our table, affecting our mood and overall enjoyment. Even the delicious food couldn't fully compensate for the uneasy feeling that lingered.
Our visit to Armel's Kitchen started off on a high note with delectable dishes and prompt service, but was marred by the staff's behavior that made us feel uneasy. As a family who had looked forward to a happy meal together during our Miri trip, we couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed.
In summary, Armel's Kitchen has a lot of potential with its scrumptious food and efficient initial service. However, improvements in staff behavior and maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for all diners would make the experience truly exceptional.

Excellent food and beautiful drinks! The food is tasty without being overpowering, the waitress speaks excellent English and was more than happy to explain the menu and make recommendations.

Been coming here a few times and have to say, all the food I’ve had here have been excellent. Highly recommend their butter chicken (both wet and dry are tasty) and their nasi goreng cornbeef. Reasonably-priced and a good selection of menu too.

Butter chicken, ayam bakar, kambing bakar were all delicious. Staff was very friendly and service was excellent. Ice lemon tea wasn't very good but overall nice experience and would recommend.

The vibe and food is quite good for a restaurant that serves malay food at night.
Only gripe is the food pricing, nasi ayam bakar is RM 22 and nasi kambing bakar is RM 27, which is quite expensive considering that the other food item costs around RM 10.
