(From an out of towner), this hidden gem of a weekend brunch spot is outstanding! From the service to the food/atmosphere 100/10. They are only open from Friday to Sunday, and we came twice in one weekend. Didn’t capture photos of the first trip but, providing the second trip! If you try anything.. the pancakes are a MUST! Dishes are all homemade and home style feel. Do not skip this spot when you’re in town!

Mix of the Moment
Everything locally sourced, organic, fresh, from the farmers markets. This place is beyond words, there’s not enough stars. Come here if you appreciate quality and this identifies “made with love”. If you’re looking for quick and easy go do your thing but if you love food, this place is incredible! Mom and pop owned and operated. Sit on the right if you want a free show. We’ve been on the road for a few weeks and eat out a lot, this is by far the best food we’ve had, like ever. Love the hidden gem, it’s not easily noticeable, we walked by and didn’t realize it was a freaking diamond of a breakfast joint, looks like a house.
The seasonal mix was phenomenal. The salmon Benedict made me like fish which I’ve always been grossed out by. The Bloody Mary is PERFECT. The coffee is in French press. These guys are incredible. Thank you for the amazing experience!
I’m terribly sorry for my sailor mouth just before we left when I was explaining how freaking good this was. 🙏❤️

What a Newport gem! The owners’ welcoming warmth, carefully crafted menu, and delicious hearty breakfast shouldn’t be missed! The casual vibe and eclectic décor immediately reminded us of a home cooked breakfast from our parents. Highly recommend grabbing a bite- Amy and her husband will treat you right!

This place was different but awesome. The atmosphere felt like mom and dad were cooking you breakfast while you watched cartoons. It was an intimate setting where everyone could talk to each other. Definitely recommend it.

Took forever to be seated. Very limited seating. Took forever to get our food. Waitress talked forever about their amazing fancy food, then brought us a burned waffle. Tiny shot glass of oj $7.

For a fellow who's not too fond of eating out, this place has a nice cozy feeling thanks to Amyee and the chef. Thanks for a delicious birthday breakfast.

Cozy place down from the road with laid back atmosphere and occasional live music. Family style eating when busy or chatty. Cash or good checks only. The food is a testament to posh home made cooking. The lasagna had great flavor and crisp top. Dessert was very good with a home made cinnamon ice cream.
On our most recent trip to Newport, my husband, in a fit of early morning insomnia and hunger pangs, found Arr Place on Google. By the time I woke up, he was champing at the bit.
Rarely is Joel wrong about food, and I have to say, this find was his finest yet.
We almost missed it. It looks like a regular house, except a small, handwritten sign by the door that says it’s okay to come get something to eat.
It’s more than okay. It’s magic.
Arr Place is truly special. It’s like being in a friend’s kitchen, except I don’t think any of my friends can cook like Robert and Amy. The atmosphere is homey, and because Amy and Robert are absolutely lovely people that you can talk to for hours, you forget that you’re in a restaurant at all.
And the food! Good lord, the food. It’s made with love and passion and intention, and it shows in the amazing flavor. Joel and I literally clutched each other when we had our first bite of the turtle Sunday and I nearly wept over the eggs Benedict.
We will be coming back just to eat here. Thank you, Amy and Robert!
