Honestly...I'm pretty picky but this place was AMAZING. It was really close to our stay and we went probably 4 times. The food was excellent and the croissants were to die for (I worked in bakeries for years.) The coffee was really good and the atmosphere was really clean, professional and tranquil. I was obviously food poisoned by the Keto Burger (highly likely the smoked salmon) today. Without exaggeration, everything I’ve consumed today (minus water) was from Athanasiou. I had a beef empanada & mocaccino around 8:30am, a white chocolate before 12, and the keto burger + a second mocaccino at about 1:30pm. Less than an hour after that I was home and very sick. My stomach is still really unsettled even after taking medication. It’s a terrible shame because it’s such a highly recommended cafe and I honestly enjoyed my morning there. I got a chai and a vegan sandwich. The vegan sandwich had tomato, lettuce,red onion and white onion. I remember in previous occasions the vegan sandwich had eggplant, zucchini, peppers and lettuce. I felt like the new vegan sandwich is meh. However this is still a good place for a coffee and sweet pastries. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast
