We ordered the 4-dip sampler and the family grill platter, both of which were A-MAY-ZING! The dips were to-die for, especially the house made tzatziki which is one of the best I have ever tasted. I loved that the also house made fluffy flavorful pita bread was brought out in small warm batches. The grill platter contained an assortment of well-seasoned meats, prawns, and tender calamari. Management was very welcoming and engaging. Johnny, the owner, even gave us a taste of his freshly made tzatziki. This is definitely a “must-try” restaurant. Friendly owners & staff and the food is definitly a 10/10. Managers are hands-on when it comes to any type of service and they are more than willing to explain the dished. I would definitely recommend going to Avli if you want amazing Greek food. They play Greek music, making for a comfortable atmosphere. Oh my word these people take Greek food to a whole other level - its like eating at your favourite Greek friends. They make they're own pita bread its incredible. They're homemade Tzatziki is out of this world im stopping on My way home to buy tub to take back!! The lamb Souvlakia is tender and incredibly tasty - and dont get me started about the calamari , its soft and beautiful better than any I have tasted down by the sea. And dessert 🍨 just stunning everything is homemade on the day. I can truly recommend this restaurant, food and service, they even welcomed our little dogs with water and cushions to lie on outside. A lovely space to spend time with family and friends. Children have space to play close by. Great food that was value for money and super helpful staff.
