Love the decor of this place, and at least on the day we went there was live music. The roasted chicken seems to be the star dish: they break it down for you in an aesthetic way, and the meat is wonderfully infused with flavor. We also enjoyed the fried fish skins, stir fried cabbage, and macaroni-esque noodles. Each dish was wonderfully flavored in a way that’s quite different from most Taiwanese cuisine. Highly recommend trying this place out! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

4-star rating for service because they only accept cash! I’m glad I had enough cash with me…. Place gets busy, so having a reservation would be wise. I’ve tasted better similar style chicken. The passion fruit juice was watery, can hardly taste or smell the passion fruit. The lemon baked fish has this distinct herb taste which needs getting used to. It’s delicious though. Must try. Loved this place everything is according to the theme they have set even the washroom. Have a nice sitting space at fist and 2nd floor. Live singing you can tell the guy to play whatever you want mostly in Chinese.

Great place for freinds and family if you want to try something new! I suggest Taking a walk along the beach outside 淡水Tamsui before or after your meal at the restaurant. The environment and interior design fit the theme, clean toilets, they had a live singer when I was there too! Do a face tattoo to get free flow of rice alcohol (米酒)! But the rice alcohol wasn't really heavy, it was slightly diluted. And also, One of the staff looks like "The Rock" hahahaha.

Ordered a ton of authentic taiwanese dishes. Loved the blood sausage, oil rice in bamboo, and the desserts offered here. Lovely decor and friendly staff!

The food is special and tasty, they show the characteristics of those rural people perfectly. The chicken and fish can be better, the soup should be marked in the “list”.
