A breath of fresh air! From the vibes, to the service, to the drinks, everything was outstanding. Such a chill but interesting atmosphere with delicious cocktails. Highly recommend getting a dirty martini here. Will be back! Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Backbar is a stones throw away from my house and I wanna come back all the time!! It's small, intimate, and has good music. I went for my birthday and received ~Bertha the birthday dragon~ and was it cool? Yes. Was I incredibly embarrassed? Also yes. If you don't know what you like or want to try something off the menu, you can create your own drink, I asked for something with orange/grapefruit and gin and it turned out great! I felt super ~sophisticated~ with their cocktails, as many had subtle flavors. I also like how the menu rotates often (seasonally? And weekly and monthly!) I went during the solar system menu and I liked how there was a sunny side for fruity+light drinks and a moon side for more strong, sippy drinks. We also got the santorini sour from their weekly drinks and it was SO PRETTY and yummy. I also like their nerdy and themed cocktail nights! The Lord of the Rings menu was so fun and the drinks were spectacular as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Truly the best place to get cocktails in all of Boston. If there’s a line when you get here please wait because it’s WORTH IT. Alexis served us and we told him we wanted a fruity tequila drink, and he made the best cocktail I’ve had in awhile, then we ended with the house espresso martini. Also it’s just the perfect cozy speakeasy vibe - we can’t wait to come back here!!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Such a cute place, amazing service (they're drinks are fantastic and even so, staff will make custom drinks for you if you can't pick one) we went when they were doing their monthly food flavored theme. The picture is a Carrot Cake drink, and it was absolutely delicious. Just such a fantastic and different experience than other bars. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Backbar is awesome. They have an abundant knowledge of drinks and they convey it in a way that feels very accessible. The vibe is great and they play good music. They have a capacity on people which keeps the atmosphere really nice. Drinks are incredible. One of my favorite spots! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Bartender's Choice
