We ordered from the Chinese food menu and it was fantastic. Portions were very large. Hot and sour soup was almost perfect... Wish it had a little beef or pork but the taste was amazing. A delicious and yummy sushi. I would give it 4 stars if the service was nicer. It was empty when we came in, say thanks to one of the waiter and she said nothing. We used to love this place! I’m not sure what happened but service and food was below average at best. The male server was inattentive, rude, and unfriendly. The sushi was decent. We order the salmon teriyaki bento box every time and the salmon is usually a nice size filet of salmon and yummy tempura. What we received tonight was convenience store quality. The salmon was flat as a pancake, cold, terrible. I told the server the food was cold, he kind of laughed at me, walked off and then brought another pancake thick salmon. We arrived a bit after 1pm to basically an empty restaurant. Another couple had just arrived with a newborn. The restaurant itself was hot - the heat hit you when you opened the door. Approximately 40 minutes after arrival, I noticed them adjusting the thermostat. Service was OK. The couple with the newborn was friends with the waiter so they seemed to get most of the attention and sake. We ordered the Duke Roll, Rainbow Naruto, and Miami Roll. The sushi itself was delicious - helped to make up for the service, especially since there were other employees who seemed they had nothing to do. Pretty good, the food was alright. Chicken katsu was a bit on the thin side and chewy. Katsu sauce is a cold one almost from a bottle pre-made. Nice environment for drinking and decent food. Not sure why there is any negative reviews for this restaurant we eat here at least once a week. Best sushi in town by far, haven’t eaten much better sushi in Colorado than here. The wontons are outstanding, and all of the fish taste ‘’fresh’’ unlike other sushi restaurants where it tastes like it’s been sitting out for a week. Staff is very friendly, quick service. People complaining about waiting. But I would rather wait for handmade sushi than someone pulling it out of the back from a fridge where it’s been sitting all day. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food and service is great. Sushi is fresh and expertly rolled. Entrees are amazing. If you’re into spicy food, order the orange chicken and ask them to go extra spicy. Super good. The restaurant was nearly empty during our mid-week lunch. We started with a comforting, floral-sweet Jasmine tea and a barely warm, average miso soup. The main course of sushi was okay but the rice, jalapeño, ginger, and wasabi were a let a down as it wasn't fresh--probably because of the slow pace of the place. Though with that I couldn't understand why the chicken in our chicken/rice dish wasn't hot barely at all. Bangkok was disappointing and we probably won't try it again unless we start hearing differently about the restaurant. We used to rave about the food. Recently, the food has been disappointing. Vietnamese egg rolls have changed, Pad Thai has been changed as well. Maybe a new chef or kitchen manager is is place, but the food is not what it used to be. Average at best. I wish it would return to it's prior greatness.
