For $14 bucks this is not worth it. If you want seafood, go elsewhere. Spent $50 for 3 sandwiches that have a total of maybe 15 shrimp. Also ordered a large gumbo that has a total of 3 shrimp. Not sure how they will be in business if they are going to cheat every customer. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The price range is fair . We had wings as appetizers the wings were good . I had the 20 oz. steak and the steak was more fat than anything also wasn’t seasoned correctly . My wife has the stuffed flounder and that was extremely delicious. My oldest daughter had the 12 jumbo fried shrimp which was also really good. And my youngest had the kids meal chicken strip and fries . I would come back. Oh and also the place was clean and organized anything you needed the staff would get it for you. When you get done with your plates or if you had any dirty napkins the staff will come and take care of it .

This was my first time ordering food from this place...I have to say the food exceeded my expectations after reading some of the negative ratings. I ordered oysters on the half shell, side of fried oysters, calamari, shrimp cocktail and 3 hamburger baskets for 66 bucks. The burgers were pretty damn big, but the patty needed a bit more seasoning, the oysters on a half shell were tasty n not "fishy", the calamari was not too chewy and cooked just right! I can't comment on the shrimp cocktail cuz we ran outta space in our tummies! My husband and children agreed, this will be a repeat restaurant!

The crawfish were small, which is fine. But the flavor was bland and alot of them tasted gross, were grey, and smelled when opened. My daughter has a large allergen lists. But she can have fries and nuggets. When I asked about the oil theyre fried in the waitress didn't know how to find the name, i let her known how to find the ingredient list. The chef came out and told me but I felt like a bother to the staff at this point. I brought her safe food (just mcdonalds) but they requested i take the food out. Which is understandable but then have allergens posted and know your ingredients. Towards the end of the meal I do feel everyone calmed down and the waitresses were starting to warm up. But the opening of the meal, and bringing up her allergens, I feel, affected how the staff treated us then on. And how the food came out. Nuggets were extra crispy, crawfish bland, burger was dry, and so on. And when silverware was brought to me it was only a butterknife wrapped in the napkin. My family has been before in large groups so we know the food is normally great. Which is further proof we were being treated differently. What a welcome sight. We were traveling home, looking for a place to eat when we saw the sign. Our Baytown Seafood in Montgomery closed awhile ago so when we saw the sign we knew it would be good and we were right! Friendly waitress, good prices and fabulous food! We went on a Friday at 7p for crawfish. They were busy but had a few tables open. The wait staff was very prompt with drinks. We ordered the special fried catfish and shrimp, crawfish, oysters, and grilled catfish plate. The oysters tasted super fresh. The food came out one plate at a time as it was ready. The wait staff was constantly refilling drinks and checking on us. We ordered the chocolate cake to go. It was so rich and delicious. We enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and exceptional service.

I have eaten at several Baytown Seafood locations in and around the Houston area. This particular location was alright. None of the food we had was fantastic, and the service was so-so. The main reason for the visit was crawfish,which ended up being our least favorite item. The crawfish were really muddy flavored and had not been well cleaned prior to boiling. The grilled shrimp are usually good at other Baytowns I have patronized. This location they were seasoned well, but hadn't been deveined prior to cooking. The fried fish fillet was pretty good, it was the favorite out of the items our table ordered.

Order 2pc fish with 9pc shrimp, fries fried okra and 🦐 gumbo to go. Received my order in plastic bag which should be for hot food period (it steams) the food up! But neither here nor there. The fish through me off bc catfish is never cut the way it was cut, and it's never moist, translucent in color as well has a distinct taste. This fish did not and I know catfish bc it's the only fish I like fried. Needless to say the gal who rang me up wasn't sure if she requested it and the person who made it didn't speak English so she translated in Spanish. I knew they made a mistake regardless. I trashed it and ate the shrimp which was flavorful okra okay fries alright. Yet to try the gumbo bc I've lost my taste for it no thanks to the disappointing fish. Won't ever go back and close with this..."if the culture that specializes in a particular dish didn't make, don't try it and expect perfection." Mexicans do Mexican food, blacks/soul food Chinese/Chinese food etc.... I don't wanna see Chinese cook soulfood, Mexicans Chinese and cooking Mexican food PERIOD!!
