Been coming to this bakery for years, always got my welcome back from vacation cake and breakfast regularly here, once I ordered a Togo order and ate it there and the owners son screamed at us that we could not do that, so I haven’t gone back in 2 or 3 years but my boyfriend really wanted to go so we went, I guess the employees have to warm up to the customer but at the beginning they are a little rough but at the end the lady was very nice and made our breakfast good! I will give them another shot on the cakes but won’t be there for breakfast anytime soon. Much better faster places around. Cakes and pastry’s good.

I’ve been going to Bella Palermo for many years to get cakes. Today when I went to pick up a cake. We cut it and it was not what we expected. When I called and spoke to one of the workers she said to take a picture and text it to them. She called me back a couple of minutes later and she stated she needs me take the cake tomorrow so they can figure out what happen. The cake was already in the garbage. Representative stated to take a picture from the garbage and send it again. I then told her this is ridiculous that I have to do all of this. She proceeded to say that if they believe every customer that says something is wrong with cake. I told her she just lost a loyal customer. As a business if you have this issues going on. Why not make up a system that will track all your loyal or in my case ex loyal customer. Phone numbers in system, emails. Etc.UPDATE I RECEIVED A CALL THIS MORNING FROM EMPLOYEE GASTON. HE WAS VERY APOLOGETIC FOR THE TREATMENT I RECEIVED FROM HIS COWORKER LAST NIGHT. HE PROVIDED A REFUND AND THANK ME FOR MY BUSINESS. THANK YOU GASTON FOR MAKING IT RIGHT. I have been getting my cakes here since I was a child. This time, I wanted a vintage cake and provided a pic. They blew my expectations away. The cake was so beautiful and everyone was impressed. The most important thing was that it tasted just a good as it looked. I ordered a 3 Leche cake with strawberries.

I went to pick up a cake I ordered. When I got there the woman who worked there told me with no apology that they gave my custom ordered cake to another customer. I let her know this was custom ordered and how something like that happens. She simply replied we can give you a refund rudely or I can take another cake which was different from the one I ordered. She didn’t understand the point and again still offered no apology. I have been coming to this bakery for years and that is no way to treat a customer especially when you are in the wrong. Please learn how to empathize with your clients and treat them with kindness especially when they are helping you run your business. Shopping there was a great experience. I ordered a custom printed cake for my daughter's birthday and the service was excellent. Javier, the attendant, was extremely professional and helpful. His recommendations went from correct cake size to flavor, color options and adequate picture shape to be perfectly displayed. I highly recommend the place and I'll be back for sure for all future occasions.
