The food was decent, though not the finest Italian I've had. The diner is a bit outdated, but it has a vintage charm to it. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive, and our meals arrived surprisingly quickly, which sometimes hints at a compromise on flavor. We got a large pizza to carry out. It was ready quickly. But I definitely have had better pizza. The vegetables and pepperoni didn't appear cooked on top of the pizza, nor was there much cheese. I'm a bit disappointed. While in the restaurant for the pick up I noticed a display for beer and wine. Not no mention of beer or wine on the website. But we might try it one more time. Well two months later we actually tried the restaurant and ordered a couple of appetizers and the chicken Alfredo. We found the food a bit bland. The service seemed off, not so friendly and almost awkward. When seating you, they just tossed the menu on the table and silently walked away. Not sure I would try a third time. First off, excellent food, great portions size, outstanding service thank you Christina, and overall, my wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. We stop by for lunch or dinner every time we come to Fredericksburg. We had garlic knots 👍👍recomend Alfredo sauce and olive oil for dipping, Shrimp Florentine 👍👍, and Veal Parmigiano 👍👍 and of course wine. Thank you, we definitely recommend this place. Great Italian diner in Fredericksburg. They offer Vegan dishes and gluten free pasta. We enjoyed the chicken Siciliano, chicken marsala, and eggplant Parmigiano. Everything was very tasty with lots of flavor. 10/10 would eat here again!! We decided on pizza for NYE while in Fredericksburg. While ordering over the phone we asked for ranch on the salad, we asked if the sodas were bottles or fountain they advised bottles. My husband picked up the order and once he got back to the Airbnb (20 minute drive): the pizza is definitely not NY style, the sodas are fountain and no ranch or any dressing at all the salad. The antipasto salad also states it comes with artichokes… none of be found but we won’t be eating it anyways since there is no dressing. Dinner was a waste of $65 in our opinion. LC has better pizza for only $6… should have gone there instead. Updating my review: we tried the Stromboli it was supposed to pepperoni and cheese ONLY and instead we got a meat lovers. As a local, this is my ‘go to’ place for delicious food that never fails. I love the garlic olive oil dip with the bread twists and Lasagna is my favorite, with a 🍷 glass of wine! My grandson was delighted to eat the New York style pizza 🍕 and granddaughter loves the bread twists! They even serve steak! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very Friendly. I ordered the lasagna, my girlfriend ordered the pizza, and we had the fried calamari for an appetizer. The lasagna was excellent, as was the calamari. I highly recommend those. Their bread was delicious! As far as I was concerned, the pizza was just so-so, but my girlfriend liked it. Overall, it was well worth the visit. I'll go back the next time I'm in Fredericksburg.
