Service is great. This is the best tuna melt I've ever had. I subbed the rye for sourdough and Swiss for cheddar. The sourdough has a parmesan crust on it. Adds fantastic flavor. I'll def return.

Cuban sandwich had mustard on maybe 1/4 of the sandwich. Pretty much ruins the whole Cuban sandwich experience. One bite nothing but mustard, another nothing but dry pork desperately needing that mustard. Tiny pickle spear was stuffed down in the crease of the sandwich, again only on one side.

Great Vibe and Service, but this is my second trip and second disappointment. I understand that things are expensive in the Valley, but I need some value for my money. NY is expensive too and if you order a deli sandwich there, you go home with half a sandwich leftover. Add tip and I'm in for almost $16 on a sandwich that I wouldn't pay $2 for. When I picked up my To Go Hot Pastrami, the weight alone was a tipoff. I knew I was in for disappointment. I took all of the meat from one side and put it on the other side, so I only got half a sandwich and I still wasn't satisfied. The bread was falling apart and the pastrami had a good deal of spit-out fat. I did call to let the store know and the person that answered was kind and courteous. A credit has been offered.
Hands down one of the best avocado toasts I have had in a while. It came with a side of arugula with just a hint of light dressing that allowed you to savor the delicious bite of arugula. Great and very kind service as well. This place has so much potential!!!

We stopped here for lunch while driving. It is a pretty decent stop for lunch and the outdoor tables are nice, but I don't know if I would go out of your way to eat here. The sandwiches were pricey (~$9-12), but less than another sandwich shop close by. The cheese steak (bread was nice and soft) and grilled cheese were good, but the side salad could have been better/fresher.
Sandwiches are good, but the salads are a huge ripoff! $17 for the caprese salad with chicken - small salad with 5 little grape tomatoes, a few pieces of mozzarella, and less than 3oz of chicken. You can get a way heftier salad at Smiling Moose across the street for $17!
I feel a need to update my review after some time. With the new ownership this deli has changed. Some things are for the better, while some could be improved upon IMO. Perhaps I am still just bitter because they got rid of my go-to sandwich, but I have found a new go-to at least. The deli is much cleaner now, they have improved the quality of some ingredients, but they have completely changed and combined the signature sandwiches into relics of what was once an excellent selection. BRING BACK THE OLD COMMENDABLE!!!! I will never understand why new owners that purchase existing businesses decide to change signature features, but it happens all too often. The key to a good NY Deli are signature sandwiches and a lot are gone now.... so that is my only continuing complaint. This is still the best deli around, and overall, it is better than before. I'm excited to see what the future brings for them.

I went to this place with a little apprehension. The thing that caught my eye was the Chicago Dog, and I haven’t had a proper Chicago Style dog in a hot minute. I wasn’t sure if they would get the entire thing right, and I expected something about the composition of the hot dog to maybe be a little off. I was happily mistaken. This place nailed it. The sports peppers were exactly right. The relish was the correct type, neon. The dog had that crunchy casing. The tomatoes were half slices. They even remembered the celery salt. The ingredients were perfectly proportioned so that they blended into that signature Chicago Style flavor. An absolute joy. I also purchased one of their sandwiches, The Vito. I was going to eat it later for dinner, but the hot dog had been so delicious that I couldn’t help but try the sandwich. It was absolutely delicious. In conclusion, Belmont Deli is an excellent establishment that I would recommend to anyone and everyone.
