Come for the burgers and the lake. Dining outside when the weather's nice is fantastic. The burgers are fresh with toasted buns and good veggies. The fries are coated and fried nicely. It's BYOB and you should definitely just bring your own drinks. They charge a dollar for a cup with ice (no matter what you're drinking). They have a very limited menu now, so unless you're a burger fan, you may want to wait. They also have limited hours/days. Check before you go. The staff seemed to great with the boats, but the kitchen staff wasn't as friendly. They messed up my order and seemed more interested in explaining to me why it was messed up than fixing it. They did make right, but only after I pushed. It was a really good burger, so I will be back.

Look, I give it 5 stars for the outdoor experience of being on the lake, their staff is always helpful, and cooking hand made food. Not because it's a 5 star restaurant with fine dining. Their burgers are one of my favorites, with brioche bun. Their onion rings are crispy, but not too thick with breading. Just how I like them. I actually hate leaving this review because I don't want it to become too busy. But I have to, because they deserve it. GREAT dive! Just don't actually dive in the marina.

Spicy Burger
Burger was amazing. Atmosphere looks like a nice place to sit and relax. I took mine to go have to catch my flight in an hour. But was amazing burger really good Fries. I chose to come here over whataburger and in and out. Living in Florida we don't have either. Next time in Dallas area I'm coming here for sure. Tim was amazing very helpful. Nice little hole in the wall I feel like.

We try to come here when we have soccer games nearby. It's such a fun place to let the kids be at the lake and see the ducks. The burgers are excellent and the onion rings are so good!!

We had a great time on the 4th of July at the lake. This was our first visit to Big Daddy’s but it won’t be the last. Friendly staff and good food with a view. Add the shrimp to the cobb salad. Trust me. You’ll thank me later.

Though the wait times to order can be long on the weekends, and the ordering process is quirky, having a great Big Daddy's burger out on the lake is worth all the wait and silliness.
I usually get the Spicy Burger, topped with a chopped mixture of marinated peppers on top of the nicely cooked lean patty, topped with fresh leafy green lettuce, ripe tomato slice and fresh onions.
Try their fried jalapeno slices instead of the great fries...Or order a generous side of each for sharing with friends.
Live music out on the floating dock on the weekends is fun, and BYOB means you can have your favorite adult beverages along with that excellent burger.
Our latest trip was Labor Day with live music and improved outdoor furniture and shade!

1st time here and I will definitely be back. Ordered the muenster bacon burger and it was excellent. Burger was very well seasoned and one of the best ones I've ever had. Beautiful day to spend on Lake Grapevine. The final approach path to DFW airport is right over the water so you can watch the planes land with your lake view. Go and check them out!
Great place for waterfront food. It is behind the Scott's Landing Marina. I had a great double cheeseburger with fries for $12. Fries were a little spicy which I love. Burger was big and sloppy juicy but not too wet. Perfect. I cannot wait to go again.
You can sit outside and feed the ducks, watch the boats. Wonderful hideaway.
We had a fantastic experience eating here. It was incredibly clean for an outdoor eatery. There was entertaining live music and the views from the upper deck were lovely. We enjoyed watching all the boats coming and going. The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks and the fish off the docks. The burgers were tasty and appeared to be handmade. One person in our group had a live ladybug in their lettuce and tomato pile that was on the side. When they took it up to the counter, a whole new burger plate was made for them. We would definitely come here again for a pleasant weekend meal if we’re in the area.
