Came in one night based on a recommendation from our hotel. Looking for any easy dinner and a couple of cocktails. Had the Taco’s de Cameromes (shrimp tacos) very tasty and the coconut margaritas (happy hour special). A little sweet, but hey I don’t have it everyday… and I am on vacation. It was a perfect match for the tacos. Loves all the little kittys nestled up on the couch, and one little guy came to sleep by my feet, couldn’t help but share a few pieces of my friends leftover ribs (Kitty loved them). Great place to just hang out, have a cool beer or bite to eat. Best thing is you can smoke a nice stick and enjoy life.

While waiting for the start of our coffee plantation tour, we ran around the corner to this small patio restaurant for a quick bite. We were told that they aren’t really a fast food place, but they would try to come up with something. And so they did- within 5 minutes, we had delicious chicken tacos and cold beers, and could have spent the entire afternoon enjoying them. We liked the food so much that we came back a second time for margheritas and guacamole. The second time around, we met the owner, Christopher, who stopped for a bit to talk with us before heading out to one of his other restaurants (Christopher’s, which we later visited and also loved). We loved the casual, cozy outdoor venue at Big Daddy’s, and will definitely return when next we visit Boquete.

Chicken Tacos
When entering the restaurant you are greeted nicely and taking you back to the restaurant since it’s pet-friendly 🐶 and the service were nice throughout the lunch. They had many option to chose from in the menu, in the end I chosen Ensalada Cobb 🥗 y and cold tea☕️ but the tea was pretty sweet and the salad was very good 👍🏻. The restaurant was surrounded my natured 🌲 which allowed you to take your dog 🐶 for a walk if your dog 🐶 doesn’t wanna stay still or it feels like it wanna take a bathroom. Overall, a great place to eat at if your on a budget and this restaurant provided large portion size for a reasonable price. (With just the salad 🥗, I was pretty full from it)

Food is pretty good, although pretty sure the fries were frozen and very small portion with a burger. Drinks are good and reasonably priced. The party deck in back is very comfortable and beautiful with plenty of greenery and different choices for seating. Also pet friendly! Service was pleasant but not particularly upbeat, although a Wednesday evening visit may not be their ideal service time, as it wasn't particularly busy. Lots of expats as well as locals in the mix. Recommend for a quick bite, and more so for a couple of margaritas . (They were out of mint for mojitos 😉)

This is a really comfortable relaxed place to eat. The service is very good, we have been served by the same waitress twice so far and she is lovely! Food was great, tasted good, not too long to wait, cocktails were excellent, great playlist of music at just the right volume to enjoy but not enough to drown out conversation. Sports on TVs made it great for the guys in our group too, looking forward to our next meal already!! We ordered burger, fish and chips, nachos, and boom boom chicken. Very nice!

Good casual restaurant, make sure to sit in the pretty outdoor area around back. Large menu with good variety. We had a burger, fish tacos, and nachos - all good! Good margaritas with some unique flavors they rotate. Service can be a little slow during the busier times, but would recommend!

The selection of menu items is fantastic!
Their alcoholic drinks are strong! The first one I had - a blue lagoon was tasty, my husbands margarita was super strong.
I then tried a Long Island and I could not stomach more than a few sips. They were even kind to water it down and it was still extremely strong!
They take care of a feral felons colony which I think it amazing.
They do not risk you, the views are lovely & they allowed us to practise our Spanish with such patience!
We keep going back here because both the food and service are awesome! Touring here we wanted to try as many restaurants as possible but the food here is delicious and so well prepared we are afraid to be disappointed somewhere else. We have tried their filet mignon sandwich, Panama Red Pork Chop, Fish Tacos and the Boom Boom Shrimp and Filet Mignon platter.
Everything except the lemon pie dessert was clearly homemade which made the pie the only thing not worth the money. But everything else was perfect. The filets were rare, tender and juicy every time, the pork chop was three inches thick, the fish was flaky and mild and even the sides were perfectly prepared. The onion rings were hand cut and hand battered and just like the boom boom shrimp the batter was so light and airy you could barely tell they were fried. The mixed vegetables were succulently el dente and there were more than a 1/2 dozen local vegetables in the mix.
An added bonus is the delicious margaritas and sauces they make from the hand picked lime, lemon and orange trees growing right next to your table.
The service was friendly efficient and bi-lingual. If you are visiting Boquete, this restaurant MUST be the first stop on your list for lunch or dinner!

Big Daddy’s in Boquete Panama is more than a restaurant and has some of the best tasting food dishes and drinks in the area. We have eaten at Big Daddy’s several times and the food has always been unbelievable. Chef Chris Young continually creates an exciting menu to satisfy the tastes of everyone. He only uses the freshest meats, seafood, fruits and vegetables, sourced from local vendors, to bring out the amazing flavors of each dish. The bar creates delicious cocktails of all types including, the Chocolate Margarita, which is a must try for chocolate lovers.
The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere and a great place to meet friends, have a great meal and occasionally listen to live music from local bands.
Big Daddy’s will leave you with an experience you won’t soon forget!!
