We enjoyed this locals restaurant and ordered the lobster from Charlotteville as it was locally caught. We ordered a small lobster and it was enormous! The restaurant has a lovely view of the water and we did see a lot of birds here. The menu is a blackboard feature with lots of options. The service and timings are casual like many things on the Island. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Lobster Lunch

Authentic, friendly, delicious, and memorable. Very nice people serving up some of the best garlic & butter freshly grilled lobster I have ever had. Prepare to wait (as long as everywhere on the island) but it will be well worth the wait!
Great spot for lobster lunch! We stopped for here on our way back from Argyle Waterfall to Charlotteville. Friendly service and good WiFi. They serve baked chicken, fish or shrimps with sides of rice, lentils, salad and mac n cheese. We had their medium lobster for TT250 which was delicious and came with the above sides. I also really liked their callaloo. If you fancy lobster and come through Speyside, this is a good option besides busy Jemma’s Treehouse.
The food was tasty and the service was good. However, it was expensive and portions were small. If I am paying that price I expect to get a substantial amount.

Ever since I've eaten here over 8 years ago, its traditionally been the go to restaurant when visiting Tobago. Food is amazing and general ambience of the area is peaceful and clean.
The food was delicious. Great service.

Frank is the owner of this spot and let me tell you he exuberates the heart of Tobago. His son Don and (wife?) Who helps in the kitchen are prime chefs with the dishes, if you haven't gathered, this place is a solid 5 stars. Food - Options are wide enough to enthrall the general tourist/local; he offers shrimp, fish, chicken, lobster and maybe more by the time you get there. Accompanying the meat choice you have the daily lunch special which is usually a healthy balanced serving of carbs (rice, provisions, creole pie) legumes (peas) and greens (salads). It is plentiful, and I'm saying this as someone who eats A LOT (2 people portions are my regular intake) Ambiance - the beach front restaurant is calmly located on the roadside and blends right in to the overall aesthetic. Don't expect a fancy, luxurious restaurant building, this isn't that vibe, think relaxed, beachfront, open air, wooden bench seats and open windows for fresh breeze. You can visit here in short pants, vest, t-shirt i.e. be comfortable. Service - Frank met me for the first time and made me immediately feel welcomed. He over assured me that my (first) lobster experience would be excellent and I obliged. I did not regret not one moment of him offering us the "best Tobago water " that he gets from the reservoir and chills in his fridge to telling me stories of living in Trinidad in his younger days before returning to Tobago to settle. P.s. I am a Trinidadian who was being a full blown tourist in Tobago and this accidental pitstop turned into the most amazing local-tourist-restaurant I've experienced. Not to mention, this comes from a foodie who is very particular about kitchen prep and cleanliness. Don't believe me? Check out his 120+ reviews on TripAdvisor. You won't be sorry.
