It's pretty rare that I give a restaurant 5 stars on everything but this place is exceptional.
Wine:
Good variety for the size of the bar (it has 8 seats in total), but the real value comes from the expertise that the proprietor has on the subject. If you told me he's a professional sommelier, I would believe you. Plenty of old and new world wines to choose from, but remember that this is a wine bar, there isn't much in terms of soft drinks or beers.
Venue:
Cozy without being cramped. Music was classy without being pretentious or trying to hard. From the outside, you're approaching this place from within a generic residential neighborhood. There's a public park with public bathrooms just outside, but once you step through the door, you're in an intimate venue meant for small gatherings. There are other places to go get rowdy, this is a getaway when you need a quiet night.
Food:
I was a little wary of what I would get when I ordered the 50k won steak but I'm glad I got it! It came with mashed potatoes and veggies in addition to the steak itself, which was a little undercooked, but delicious all the same. The menu has several things to choose from, all of which have a wine pairing. I also recommend the caviar plate. Doesn't break the bank but it just tastes good.
They do take reservations. This place is perfect for Valentines or an Anniversary. Don't leave the country without visiting. You won't regret it.
